Ever since I was little, I knew I wanted to work with animals (yes — I dreamed of being Eliza Thornberry!). I began my career in the animal field in 2016, diving into veterinary medicine as a Veterinary Technician Supervisor at VIP Petcare. There, I worked hands-on with dogs and cats while supporting pet parents with compassionate, educational care. Afterward, I joined PetSmart, where I expanded my experience caring for small mammals, reptiles, and fish, while continuing to work closely with dogs and cats. I also transitioned into the grooming salon to gain even more hands-on experience and help provide a safe, positive grooming environment. Although I later moved into the corporate world, my passion for animal care never left. I have now returned to the pet industry as a full-time dog groomer in training at Petco. I am excited to offer reliable drop-in visits and walks for your furry family members. Also, on my days off, my door is wide open for your fur baby to come hang out with me! Or vise versa. I’ve provided trusted pet sitting for friends and neighbors over the years. Your pets will always be treated with patience, safety, and genuine love — just like family. I am excited to take on the new title of: Your Pet’s New Favorite Human!

Nadine is the best pet caregiver anyone could ask for. She is an incredibly kind, caring, and thoughtful human being and friend. This translates seamlessly to her pet caregiving approach and ability. As a mom of two dogs and four cats, you can trust Nadine is a seasoned and experienced pet caregiver. She is my first call any time I need to consult a friend about my two cats' health and well-being. Nadine is also my most trusted cat sitter. My cats are my babies and are spoiled, so they are used to very specific routines and treatment. When I am out of town, I am always so sad to leave my cats at home and worry about them the whole trip. However, when Nadine is pet sitting, I rest assured my cats will receive their favorite food, on their usual schedule, and mixed with the right ratio of water. She pays attention to all the details, ensuring their dry food, water bowls, and water fountains remain full so my cats have everything they could possibly need. Not only that, Nadine always goes the extra mile to make sure my cats have all the playtime, pets, and treats they could want. When Nadine is pet sitting, I know my cats couldn't be better taken care of and barely notice I'm gone. I would recommend Nadine as a pet caregiver to anyone asking. Her kind and charismatic energy is felt by all people and animals, putting them instantly at ease in her presence. If I knew Nadine were always available to watch my cats, I wouldn't think twice before booking trips.
Nadine is great!! We always use her to watch our cats when we go away. She’s kind, responsive/communicative, the cats love her and she always updates us with pictures while we are away! She always follows our detailed instructions that we leave her (as our cats can be a bit particular lol). She’s sure to give them lots of play time and attention as well when she cares for them. Couldn’t recommend her enough!
As someone who is super protective over her babies, Nadine is someone I will always trust with them under her supervision! Not only is she the sweetest person ever, but she truly loves my babies like her own! She’s always my number one go-to girl!
I can’t think of a better person to trust with your pets than Nadine. She has truly loved animals her entire life and treats them as cherished members of the family not “just pets.” I’ve personally seen the way she cares for her own animals, and it’s always with patience, attentiveness, and genuine compassion. She pays attention to their needs, their personalities, and makes sure they feel safe and loved. She’s also cared for my pets, and I’ve always felt completely at ease knowing they were with her. Any animal would be incredibly lucky to be in Nadine’s care. She will treat your pet like her own… with love, respect, and plenty of affection.
Nadine is the perfect candidate to be a partner with Rover! I've known Nadine since we were in highschool and she's been a doting animal lover the entire time. Shes always my go to person to watch my German Shepherd Anubis whenever I go out of town and he loves her to death. Shes attentive, responsible, calm, never reacts violently to any situation which is a big deal to me when it comes to my dog being watched. Shes worked with animals for 5+ years 4 of them with me while I was a manager of Petsmart and her true care for animals really showed when it came to looking after strangers pets as well as the littlest animals in the stores care. You wouldn't find a better person than her to do this job.

Schedule
I work full-time with a rotating schedule, but I keep my availability fully updated. I offer visits and walks between from bright and early in the morning all the way up right before bed.

Every pet in my care is treated as if they were my own. I approach each animal with patience, kindness, and understanding, knowing that behaviors and reactions often come from uncertainty or simply being in a new environment. I give animals the time and grace they deserve, always striving to create a calm, safe, and positive experience. My goal is not just to meet their basic needs, but to make every visit meaningful, comforting, and enriching.
Pets
A typical day
Expect endless love, belly rubs, kisses (if they’ll accept them!), and plenty of snuggles. They’ll also get to listen to all about my day and whatever random stories I decide to share… whether they pretend to care or not. If your pup has a favorite toy, ball, or game, let me know! I’m always happy to play fetch for as long as they’re having fun. Whether your dog loves to zoom around outside or prefers a cozy afternoon nap, they’ll have the best of both worlds at my home. I have a large, fully fenced backyard for playtime and a comfy couch for those who’d rather relax and recharge. Since I’m currently attending Petco Grooming Academy, as a complimentary bonus, I’d be happy to provide a bath and nail trim during your pet’s stay if you’d like.
