I am currently employed as a Veterinary Technician so I’m surrounded by animals every single day; I cannot complain! I have my own fur babies, my cat Blu and my dog Shellie who surprisingly get along well with each other. I would love to expand on my caretaking abilities to help those in need of assistance, and I believe offering my services to you will allow me to do so successfully.

I have the supplies necessary to care for both cats and dogs, including carriers and crates, food bowls, and litter boxes. Food bowls are cleaned every other day or as needed. The litter box is cleaned every day. I typically walk my dog daily my cat is both an indoor and outdoor cat. For safety, I have an air tag collar for both of my animals, and only keep my dog off leash within gated enclosures. Both are also microchipped and on parasite preventatives due to outside exposures. I know people have different approaches when it comes to caring for their furry friends, and I am willing to accommodate to you and your animal's needs.

If there is any information about your pets’ past, other behaviors that may not be commonly known, we can discuss in further detail about this to ensure a smooth process for a pet booking. I would like to know if there are certain behaviors I must pay attention to during walks, or how your dog might react around people and other animals. If there are any special accommodations while being fed such as amounts or any additives/supplements. Does your animal like to chew, toy, or play with certain household items, and are they left alone or put up when you leave the house. Anything you feel might help me understand your animal better as well!
A typical day
A typical day for me could include taking your dog to an expansive grassy area, and coming home for a long nap afterwards. We could spend time playing with toys, ropes and balls as well, and enjoy some quality time relaxing afterwards. Even if your dog is not on the more active side, I don’t mind laying down to cuddle instead. Since I love to read and watch tv, they could join me too. For your cat, we can definitely enjoy some time cuddling if that’s their thing too! I understand that your cat may not want to be bothered with me at all, and I will keep to myself and give them some space. I don’t mind grabbing their favorite string, box, or mouse to keep them entertained.

Pet care experience
I have always been intrigued by animals and their importance in every day life. Most of my experience includes both a medical and non-traditional background of providing for animal welfare. As a Veterinary student, I had the opportunity to work with large and small animals, so my experience has distended greatly! I am confident that my history enables me to withhold a distinctive perspective while addressing care for animals in any situation. Animals have emotions and personalities just like us, and I hope to be aware of every new furry pet I meet so that I may understand them to the best of my abilities!
