Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets, safety and trust are always my top priorities. I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and loved in their environment—whether it’s in my home or theirs. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any medical or behavioral needs so I can provide personalized care. In a client’s home: • I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medication, walk routines, and playtime. • I keep the environment clean and calm, and I respect your home as I would my own. • I provide updates and photos regularly to keep you reassured and connected with your pet while you’re away. In my home (if applicable): • I create a peaceful, pet-friendly space with safe zones for rest, play, and exploration. • I use pet-safe products and keep harmful items out of reach. • I slowly introduce pets to any other animals in my home, ensuring everyone feels safe and stress-free. Building trust with both pets and pet parents matters to me deeply. I aim to create a nurturing, reliable experience every time.

Information Nadia K. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for any pet, I like to gather as much information as possible so I can provide safe, stress-free, and personalized care. Here’s what’s most important to know ahead of time: • Routine & Habits: Their daily schedule (meals, walks, playtime, sleep), favorite toys, and comfort items. • Temperament & Personality: Are they shy, energetic, cuddly, independent, or reactive in certain situations? • Medical Needs: Any allergies, medications, mobility issues, or medical conditions I should watch for. • Triggers & Fears: Are they afraid of loud noises, other animals, strangers, or certain objects? How do they react? • Training & Commands: What commands they know, what you’re working on, and what language or signals you use. • Interactions: How they do with other pets, kids, and new people—especially important for walks or boarding. • House Rules: What’s allowed and what’s not (like furniture access, treats, crate time, etc.). • Emergency Info: Vet contact, emergency protocols, and any backup contacts, just in case.
A typical day
For dogs: • We start with a nice walk to get some fresh air and exercise. I change up the route for variety and let them sniff and explore—it’s their version of reading the news! • After breakfast and rest time, we play engaging games like fetch, or use treat puzzles to keep their minds busy or we watch some YouTube cat/dog videos. • If they enjoy learning, I’ll work on basic commands or fun tricks using positive reinforcement. • Cuddle breaks, belly rubs, and one-on-one time are always built in to make them feel loved. • Evening walks or backyard play wrap up the day before settling into a calm wind-down routine. For cats and small pets: • I start with a gentle greeting, some chin scratches, and a check-in on food and water. • We play with teaser wands, chase toys, or laser lights if they’re active—or simply enjoy quiet time with brushing and bonding if they prefer that. • I make sure their environment is enriched with window perches, tunnels, or interactive feeders. • I monitor their mood and routines closely to make sure they’re feeling their best while you’re away. Above all, I make sure each pet gets the care, comfort, and fun they’re used to at home—and maybe a little extra pampering too!

Pet care experience
Pet Care Experience: I’ve spent years caring for a variety of animals—from playful kittens and energetic pups to senior pets and even exotic companions. Whether it’s daily walks, cuddle sessions, or giving meds with care, I treat every pet like family. My love for animals runs deep, and I always aim to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. What Sets Me Apart: With a background in animal physiology and neuroscience, I understand pets not just emotionally but biologically too. I’m calm, observant, and especially great with shy, anxious, or senior animals. I’ve worked with pets needing training, special care, and I tailor my approach to each animal’s unique personality and needs. Whether it’s handling a high-energy puppy or gently supporting an older cat, I’m here to give your pet the thoughtful, science-backed care they deserve.

Reviews
First visit with our pup went awesome, she came home happy and exhausted :)

Nadia la always amazing ! She takes care of my dog so well. My dog is always happy to see her and very tired after lol!

Nadia was so great with my golden retriever puppy today! She was able to accommodate a very last minute request and I felt so comfortable leaving my pup with her. He looked so happy in all of the videos that she sent me throughout the day and the homemade nutritious treats were such a sweet gesture ❤️ I would recommend Nadia to anyone who wants a loving and responsible pet sitter.

Nadia went above and beyond. She truly cares for the animals in her care. We are so grateful we found someone we can trust with our dog. Our shy timid dog was won over after just one stay and to say we were also won over would be an understatement. Her house is spacious, with a big fenced in yard. She knows how to handle any challenges that may occur, as well as her knowledge and patience is incredible. She is so wonderful and amazing, and we look forward to booking with her in the future.
