I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so while advanced notice is always appreciated, last minute requests can often be accommodated. Pets staying at my home can be walked and cared for whenever needed, your animal is basically with me 24 hrs a day!

I live in a single family home in Oak Park, currently without other pets. I’m near several parks in a dog friendly neighborhood, and love taking dogs for walks! I have a crate, a bed, dishes, toys, etc, that will accommodate most dog sizes, but you’re welcome to bring whatever makes your pet most comfy. I request that dogs brought to my home have their nails filed in order to protect my floors, but if not, I can do this for a small fee.

General personality traits and known commands will help me and your pup be most comfortable. If a large breed, please let me know how well they walk and respond to other dogs. While I am willing to handle dogs of all sizes, I need to know if they’ll charge at other animals or pull excessively (I’m not huge)!
A typical day
Playtime with whatever your babe finds motivating is a must. Tons of petting, affection and exercise are guaranteed. I like to go to local parks, and forest preserves if car rides are ok. If your dog is allowed peanut butter, let me know! I love giving frozen natural PB filled Kongs to tide over or calm an anxious pup.

I’ve had dogs of all kinds since I was 6 months old, as well as MANY other animals. Animals in need seem to find their way to me, and I’m the go to for friends and family when furbaby sitting is needed. I’ve never met an animal I didn’t get along with!
