I've done pet sitting in the past for family I also used to work for a dog boarding facility, so I'm experienced with dogs of all breeds/sizes/temperaments and if your pup is more shy don't worry Ill take that extra time with them to make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I've been to vet assistant school and got some hands on training there such as learning how to administer pills or shots and wound care and more
