Where Dogs Feel at Home

Dogs have always been part of my life. I grew up with dogs, have owned them throughout my entire adulthood, and have foster experience—so I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Your dog will stay in a safe, family-style home with a large, fully fenced yard for supervised play. I have a very sweet, friendly dog named Harry who enjoys the company of other dogs. I also have two sons (ages 11 and 14) who love dogs and are kind, respectful, and always supervised—your pup may even come home with a new trick! I’m attentive to routines, feeding schedules, medications, and individual needs, and I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel confident while you’re away. Your dog will be cared for like one of my own.

Myria was a great dog sitter. She is very friendly/ communicates well. She watched my 9 month old puppy for 10 days and I felt very comfortable leaving her with Myria and her family. I highly recommend her.

Myria has taken such wonderful care of my pups. Over the years, she has also opened her home to many rescues and foster dogs (often becoming “foster fails”), giving her extensive experience with a wide range of breeds, personalities, and special needs. I always have complete peace of mind knowing my dogs are not only well cared for, but also showered with attention and plenty of cuddles when they’re with her.

Schedule

I work daytime hours (usually 5–7 hours) but can come home as needed throughout the day for potty breaks, meals, and check-ins. Dogs are never left alone for long stretches, and I’m mindful of dogs who need extra reassurance, whether that’s a senior pup or one with separation anxiety. Dogs are part of our daily routine and get plenty of time outside in our fully fenced yard, along with indoor relaxation and attention. Mornings and evenings are calm and consistent. My kids are in sports, so we occasionally attend games. If your dog is leash-trained and enjoys outings, I’m happy to bring them along to outdoor sports only. If not, they’ll stay safely and comfortably at home. I do my best to follow your dog’s normal routine and always provide updates and photos.

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I provide a secure, fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor play and a calm, family-style home where dogs are treated like part of the household—not kenneled or isolated. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, and any special needs. I’m attentive to dog interactions and make sure every pup feels comfortable, whether they’re social, shy, a senior, or need extra reassurance. Dogs are never left unsupervised outdoors, and any outings are leash-only and limited to safe, outdoor activities. My children are kind, respectful, and always supervised around dogs. I believe trust is built through communication, so I provide regular updates and photos to help you feel confident and at ease while you’re away. For everyone’s safety, I’m best suited for dogs who are friendly with other dogs and children, are house-trained, and up to date on vaccinations. No aggressive behaviors No excessive barking or escape artists

Pets

A typical day

The day starts with a morning potty break and neighborhood walk, letting dogs explore new smells and get moving. After breakfast, there’s time to relax indoors or play in the fenced yard. Throughout the day, dogs get regular potty breaks, attention, and enrichment. Later, we enjoy another neighborhood walk or, with owner approval, a visit to a large dog park nearby. Evenings are calm, with dinner, downtime, and lots of love. Each day is tailored to your dog’s energy level and needs.
