I’m currently in school to become a paramedic, so I’m offering pet care as a way to help pay for my education while doing something I genuinely enjoy. My availability is Monday and Wednesday from 6:00 PM–10:00 PM, Tuesday from 4:00 PM–10:00 PM, and Thursday through Sunday from 6:00 AM–10:00 AM. During those times, I’m fully committed to providing dependable, attentive care for your pets. Whether it’s a walk, drop-in visit, feeding, or some extra playtime and cuddles, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide care that’s consistent with what they’re used to at home. During walks, I always use secure leashes and harnesses as instructed, stay aware of our surroundings, and avoid situations that could be unsafe. During drop-in visits or house sitting, I’ll follow your feeding schedule, refresh water, administer oral medications if needed, clean up after your pets, and make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I’ll also treat your home with the same respect I would my own by keeping it clean, locking doors and gates, and sending regular photo and message updates so you can feel confident your pets are happy and well cared for while you’re away.

Before caring for a pet, I like to know their normal routine, feeding schedule, medications (if any), energy level, and any behaviors I should be aware of. For dogs, it’s especially helpful to know how they do on walks, whether they’re reactive to other dogs or people, and any favorite commands or treats. For cats, I like to know their litter box routine, hiding spots, and how they prefer to interact with new people. I also appreciate knowing about any allergies, medical conditions, fears (such as thunderstorms or fireworks), and emergency contact information. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can keep your pet comfortable, safe, and happy while you’re away.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I like to tailor each visit to their personality and energy level. For dogs, that might mean a walk around the neighborhood, playing fetch, tug-of-war, or simply getting outside to explore and burn off some energy. For cats, I enjoy interactive play with toys, brushing (if they enjoy it), treats, and giving them affection—or respecting their space if they’re more independent. No matter the pet, I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of potty breaks, and lots of love and attention. I’ll also send photo updates so you can see how much fun your furry family member is having while you’re away!

Myranda is wonderful with my boys (cats) Noodle and Moo! They're usually stand offish to be people, but they warmed right up to her. She watched our boys when we went out of town. During of which she put up with my helicopter mom antics, plus sent extra cute photos.
