I don’t just make sure you dogs basic needs are fulfilled, I ensure they have a safe, happy and positive experience. Each animal has specific needs that need to be addressed, routines to be followed, grooming needs, medications to be administered, and maybe even bad habits (like pulling on the leash) that I can help you resolve. I can assist with or maintain crate training, teach basic to competitive obedience and clip your fur baby’s nails while you have the peace of mind knowing they are in good hands. I have a difficult time finding pet care that I have enough trust in for my own pups, so I strive to provide the very best for yours. I have a fenced yard, two young dogs of my own and an experienced and positive approach to dog handling. I have the ability to separate dogs who might not get along or be in heat without putting them in kennels, as well as experience introducing dogs and recognizing warning signs so I can keep your pet safe and avoid accidents. I enjoy a stress free and relaxed environment that allows your dog to be a dog - bark, play, nap and socialize - under direct supervision. I only work 1 or 2 weekdays, so I am home when a lot of people are at work and pups are home alone. I am often home with my dogs, and I find myself wishing they had a 3rd or 4th friend to romp around in the backyard with! Since I have just raised two golden retriever puppies, my house is puppy-proof and very dog friendly. I have baby gates and kennels if needed for a stress free acclimation period or if they ever need a break from each other!

J’ai eu une excellente expérience avec Myra. Mon chien l’a adorée dès le début et a beaucoup aimé jouer avec ses chiens, qui sont très bien équilibrés et bien socialisés. Elle respecte les directives et la routine demandées, ce qui m’a donné une grande tranquillité d’esprit. Myra a traité mon chien comme l’un des siens : beaucoup d’affection, de caresses, quelques gâteries, une attention constante à sa sécurité et surtout beaucoup de plaisir. J’ai senti qu’il était entre de très bonnes mains. Je n’hésiterais pas une seconde à lui confier mon chien à nouveau et je la recommande fortement à toute personne cherchant une gardienne de confiance.
Myra seems to be a good sitter at first but due to certain circumstances I cannot say that Arthur had a good stay with her. We were cancelled 1 time for a meet and greet and then cancelled during Arthur’s stay. Myra didn’t bother to call us during the day while she was handling Arthur and waited at night to cancel our booking and explain some issues she had during the day. Issues that could of been fixed over the phone very quickly. Our dog seemed anxious when he came back so we don’t know how he was treated during the day, it is the first time that we have issues with a sitter with our dog who is well trained and really friendly with humans and dogs.

I had a work contract far away from home for 7 weeks in the summer of 2021. I left my cat with Myra, who took amazing care of her. She is a cat with special needs (medical and behavioural). Myra administered the medication, trimmed her nails (back and front) gave her a safe space in her home where her own pets cannot access to avoid triggering my cat's behavioural issues (related to anxiety). She brushed her, pet her, played with her. And though my cat is a very anxious cat, she adapted very well to Myra's home. As I missed her so much, Myra regularly sent me lovely pictures and videos of my cat sleeping, playing, purring, cuddling. I am a very protective cat mom and would definitely trust her again with my cat.

A typical day
Frequent walks, play time, naps, brief but frequent training sessions and of course, snuggles. I tailor my days to suit the dogs needs, and those vary depending on age, breed and individual capabilities of each dog. If you leave your working line German Shepherd with me for a day, it will be very different from the day I spend with a Dachshund ☺️
