I've lived on a small farm since I was 4 years old and I've been caring for animals since then. At age 16, I began house sitting/pet sitting for various families who trusted me with a wide range of animals, including cats and dogs. My family has always included multiple pets and I love them each dearly. Every animal deserves the most care and love possible. Pets have my whole heart and I want nothing but the best for them. I can confidently say that I know very well how to care for any dog or cat.

Safety, trust & environment
When I am caring for a pet at the client's home, I walk into the situation understanding that the pet may not trust me at first because they are on their home turf and they have never met me before. I am always careful to use a quiet and calm voice while not making any sudden movements until the pet has shown they are no longer afraid. I've learned that it helps to use the pet's name, talk to them without fear, and keep a safe distance until they've learned to trust me. Once the pet is comfortable with my presence, I will go about caring for them and making sure they get lots of love and attention.

Schedule
I currently have a full time job but I am free in the late afternoons and evenings so I will have plenty of time to care for your pet and give them all the love they need. I will be available to spend as much time with them as you request and when I am caring for them, they will get my full attention. Your pets are my priority.
