When caring for pets, either in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and familiar environment so they feel secure and well loved. I start by following the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walk times, medications, and any special instructions. In a client’s home, I make sure to respect their space, keep things tidy, and maintain the pet’s usual comfort zones. When pets stay in my home, I set up a cozy area with their favorite toys, beds, and anything the owner provides to help them feel at ease. I give plenty of playtime, exercise, enrichment, and affection based on each pet’s personality, active dogs get long walks and games, while shy cats might prefer gentle play and quiet company. Throughout the visit, I provide fresh water, keep their space clean, and monitor their behavior to make sure they're happy and healthy. I also send regular updates and photos so owners know their pets are safe and having a great time.

Mykayla did a wonderful job of taking care of our pets (two dogs and a cat). She did everything exactly as we asked for "the boys" and watered our plants as well. She sent pics of everything and daily text updates. The boys seemed to enjoy her company immensely. We sincerely appreciate her making us feel comfortable going on vacation with no worries.
Mykayla did an outstanding job taking care of our pets. From the start, she was reliable, communicative, and clearly experienced. Our dogs and cat took to her right away, which says a lot. She followed all of our instructions, kept us updated, and went above and beyond by taking care of things we didn’t even ask her to do. That level of attention and care really stood out and gave us peace of mind while we were away. We came home to happy, well-cared-for pets, and everything was exactly as it should be. Mykayla was great sitting our cat Pepper. She took time to pet her and play with her each visit, as well as refreshing food, water, and litter box. We also got several pictures of our cat every day. Recommended!

I am currently a stay at home mom so pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I plan my schedule around the pets’ needs and make their care a consistent part of my day. Each morning starts with feeding, fresh water, and a check-in to make sure everyone is healthy and comfortable. For dogs, I build in regular walks, play sessions, and potty breaks throughout the day, while cats get interactive playtime, enrichment, and attention on their own terms. I also set aside time for cleaning—refreshing litter boxes, tidying up pet areas, and keeping feeding spaces organized. Throughout the week, I rotate in longer activities like grooming, deep cleaning, or special enrichment depending on the pet. I keep detailed notes and reminders so I always stay on top of routines, medications, or appointments. Because pet care is woven into my daily habits, it feels seamless, organized, and reliable—ensuring every pet gets consistent love and attention every single day.
