I grew up with dogs always in my life/home, from newborn pups to senior pups. I’m an animal lover, HOWEVER, dogs hold a very dear place in my heart. I have the time in my life right now and would like to extend that time and love to other dogs where I can. In addition— to help other dog parents to make sure their dog(s) get the exercise and love they need when their parent(s) may not be able to at that time needed.

We weren’t nervous at all using Mykala as our first sitter from Rover- we knew she loved dogs within minutes of meeting her and her dog, Kobee. This wasn’t an overnight stay, but we know he’ll be taken care of, and have a buddy to play with while he’s there. Got some good pics of them together, too!
We were gone all day & Mykala helped us with Hank & Milo. She visited & took Hank for a walk! She sent pics & videos too :) We are so happy with Mykala & will definitely ask for her services in the future. Thank you Mykala!! Boys say thanks too ❤️
My son and I went out of town and were going to be leaving my dog alone for the first time! He is a big pit bull, so some tend to be a little intimidated upon first glance. I was very nervous about how he would do so I wanted to make sure he was taken care of by someone who truly cared for him. Mykala did just that! She took care of Oscar for four days. Feeding, playing, and giving him lots of love. She also sent me plenty of pictures to update me on how he was doing, which I really appreciated!

Schedule
I’m currently working part time and going to Vet Tech school. For the most part my schedule is flexible. I am willing to take requests that may not be listed in my availability.

Safety, trust & environment
I do require a meet and greet. I have a large fenced in backyard. I have a boxer named Kobee who loves being around other dogs. In my home, dogs are accepted to be on beds and couches— dog hair = canine confetti. If your dog requires a crate, it will need provided at time of stay/visit. If requests are to care for pet at clients home, I will treat your pet as my own and respect your home. My place or clients place I expect a list of care specifics (if any) for your dog(s).

A typical day
I want to make sure the dog is getting the most out of their walk. If they enjoy playing fetch or going for a run, I will do that. I like taking dogs to a nearby park or nature trail as long as it’s not too far from their home.
