Safety, trust & environment
Safety: I make sure the environment is secure—checking that doors, fences, and gates are closed, and removing any hazards like loose cords or toxic plants. I follow all feeding instructions carefully, keep medications stored properly, and supervise pets closely during walks or playtime. Trust: I treat every pet with patience, respect, and kindness to build a strong bond. I also keep open communication with pet parents by sending updates and photos, so they feel confident and reassured while they're away. Environment: I maintain a calm, clean, and pet-friendly space. If I’m in the client’s home, I respect their space and routines, making sure the pets feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible by sticking to their usual schedule.
Information Myka J. would like to know about your pet
To give each pet the best care possible, it’s helpful to know a few key things before our time together: Personality & Behavior: Are they shy, energetic, social, or protective? Do they get along with other pets or kids? Routines: What’s their usual schedule for meals, potty breaks, walks, and bedtime? Health Needs: Any allergies, medications, past injuries, or medical conditions I should be aware of? Triggers & Fears: Are they scared of storms, loud noises, strangers, or anything else I should handle gently? Training & Commands: Do they know any commands or have specific rules I should follow? Emergency Contacts: Your vet’s info and how you'd like me to handle possibly emergencies.

Pet care experience

Reviews
Myka J. cancelled a booking 2 days before it was scheduled to begin.

Myka was a lifesaver over the holidays, even coming back for an extra night when our flights were delayed. So grateful!
Myka really loves animals and takes great care of not only her pet but other people’s pets and I wouldn’t trust anyone else more than her with my pets.
Myka is a very responsible and caring young lady. She has a 10 year old lab mix named Bella. She is so excited to love on her when she gets home and any animal that crosses her path. She would be an excellent caregiver. You won’t go wrong with her.
