In my client’s home, I will make sure there is nothing left dirty or stinky! I will feed your pets and offer them lots of love and take them on walks. I also follow a routine of supplements and medication for my dog’s so I am really good at following schedules that require strict needs. I know how important diet is and will only feed your pet provided food.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs or allergies. If your pet is taking routine supplements or medications, I’d be happy to administer them. I prefer breeds under 100 lbs because I’m only 5’2 and I would like to be a dog walker, not walked by the dog! Please also let me know about your pets behaviors and preferences for treatment. I will happily adapt to meet the individual needs of your pet.
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs and cats by playing with toys in the yard or home. Once the pet is comfortable, I can then expose them to some exploration activities! Whether it be walking your dog on a leash or teaching your cat to ignore my jokes, we are bound to have a fabulous time! I love giving them treats for good behavior and tummy rubs.

Pet care experience
I have had experience raising cats and dogs since I was a young girl. My family dog when I was a little girl got a bad skin infection and I nursed him back to health with daily baths in oatmeal bath wash. I’ve raised kittens and puppies from 4-6 weeks old and even weened my 4 year old Dutch shepherd off of milk. I’m the kind of fur mom who finds an ingrown hair in her collie and gets him medicine to keep him in pristine condition. My love for animals is endless and I would love to treat your babies just as I treat mine!

Mya is an absolute doll! We had a last minute, pretty long trip (8 days). I was very nervous being away from Cassius (85lb pitt/lab mix) for that amount of time but Mya took the very best care of our sweet buddy. She kept his routine and gave him tons of love in our absence. She sent pictures and updates 2-3 times a day. She also went above and beyond with small asks like checking the mail. Mya is very easy to communicate with and I even enjoyed quite a bit of random small talk with her. I appreciate her care for Cassius, and for our home. Mya is more than welcomed in our home anytime!
Mya was wonderful! This was our first time leaving our 8-month-old puppy for the evening, and she was so kind and so loving with little Barney! She did a great job and we will absolutely be using Maya again!
