I recently moved to the area for college, so my schedule is completely open until September. That means I have lots of flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, daycare, and overnight stays. I’m happy to work around your schedule and do my best to accommodate last-minute bookings whenever I can!

Since I live in an apartment, I currently provide care in my clients’ homes. I always try to stick to your dog’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I’m happy to take dogs on long walks, play with them outside in a fenced yard or indoors, and make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. I’m also comfortable with dogs who like to cuddle or sleep with someone at night if that’s what they’re used to. I’ll make sure your dog has fresh water, is fed according to your instructions, gets lots of potty breaks, and receives plenty of love and companionship. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, and cared for until you return.

I would like to know the dogs medical history. Your dogs daily routine (when is feeding, walks, bathroom breaks, ect), any allergies the dog may have, house rules (are they allowed on furniture, crate trained?), any training or obedience requirements, is your pet spayed/neutered, is your dog good with other dogs, is your dog good on leash. What is your dogs temperament? Does your dog have history of resource guarding, anxiety, or any triggers.
A typical day
I love to play outdoors with dogs. I am healthy and love to exercise, so I enjoy long walks with dogs. I can tire dogs out through mental enrichment like training, puzzle toys, or treat scavenger hunts. And I of course, love to cuddle and pet dogs!

Pet care experience
I have over a year and a half of hands-on experience working at a doggy daycare, and I absolutely loved every minute of it! My role involved supervising dogs throughout the day, making sure they stayed safe, happy, and active. I spent lots of time playing with them, encouraging exercise, and getting to know each dog’s unique personality. I also provided dog walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care for clients, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs both at home and in new environments. On top of my professional experience, I’ve grown up with large dogs my entire life, so I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I genuinely love spending time with animals and treat every dog as if they were my own.

Mya is an extremely reliable and trust worthy young woman. Mya worked for me at my doggy daycare for a little over a year. She would stay and watch the dogs alone while I drove around at lunch, provided overnight care for my clients and the occasional dog walk. The only reason she no longer works for me is because she's moved 6 hours away from me and I was very sad to see her go! Mya was always punctual showing up to work at the doggy daycare. She'd go above and beyond making sure all of my client's dogs were well cared for, tired and loved. Not too long after she started working for me I knew I could trust her to stay at my client's homes to watch their pets overnight while they were on vacation, which for me is a big deal since if something went wrong it would put my business at risk. Not once did I ever worry about her not showing up for work and I never had to worry leaving her with up to 10 dogs alone, I knew I could trust her without a single doubt in my mind. I can't think of anyone better to trust your pet with and I hope you give her a shot because you won't regret it!
Mya is very respectful and responsible! She always sends photos of my Dog when he’s in her care and lets me know he’s happy and safe. She also makes sure to check in and texts to let me know when she will be arriving and leaving. She takes him for walks and fills his cong with pumpkin and gives him lots of playtime with his toys and cuddles. When needed, I ask her to do simple tasks around the house while she is here such as emptying a dehumidifier and filling the dog pool for play time etc. I would definitely recommend Mya to watch your pets!
