I’ve never met an pet I didn’t love
I’ve personally have two dogs and one cat, but taken care of many more. Puppies, potty accidents, senior dogs, grouchy cats. I love them all! Looking to gain more professional experience with different animal personalities. I am a former dog foster for the Richmond SPCA and Beagles & Bentleys.

Mya is fantastic! She came over for a meet and greet before her first drop in visit and was so sweet with my animals. She asked great questions, was tuned in to instructions, and I quickly felt like I could trust her with my pets!
Mya is an incredibly responsible and loving pet caregiver. She does a wonderful job caring for Secretariat and is completely obsessed with her in the best possible way! Mya is always on time, diligent, dependable, and brings such a fun, positive energy. She also has a strong understanding of how to care for and communicate with dogs, making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I always know Secretariat is happy and receiving plenty of attention when she is with Mya.
Mya is phenomenal. She cared for my two dogs (30 and 50 pounds). She house sat and watched them for days. She gave me wonderful updates and I came home to happy dogs. I would recommend Mya over and over again!
I went on vacation for 10 days and mya watched my dog and it was so helpful!! It was so amazing to not have to worry and relax. She kept me updated and sent pics!!
Growing up with two dogs, Mya is a natural animal care-taker. She now lives with two cats and one dog who live in paradise thanks to her care. Mya is extremely punctual, thoughtful, considerate, and empathetic; she checks all the boxes in choosing a sitter. She also owns plants and keeps her home tidy as that is something she values. You and your fur baby will surely appreciate being in the care of Mya S.

My availability is mostly open during the week! For weekends, I might need request decently far an advance as I do Rover as my side job.

My home has already been made pet friendly and has the space to accommodate 1-2 more pets (depending on size) as I do have two of my own. I like to get a sense of how the pet feels about his / my home to establish their level of comfortability and trust.

A typical day
Play depends fully on the personality and energy level of the pet. I will assess if they need low, medium, or high stimulation play. I will also assess if dogs prefer indoor or outdoor time, as well as how much they enjoy toys , balls, etc.
