I have experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities! I’ve looked after multiple pets for friends, family, and clients; providing walks, feeding, playtime, and lots of attention and affection. I also have a cat of my own, so I understand the importance of providing patient, attentive care and making pets feel safe and comfortable. In addition, I previously worked at a dog park, where I gained hands-on experience reading canine body language, understanding dog behavior, and safely managing interactions between dogs of different temperaments. This experience has taught me how to recognize stress signals, prevent conflicts, and ensure every pet has a positive, safe experience!

Mya took exceptional care of my dog, Shep, who isn’t always the easiest pup to handle. From the moment she started, I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such capable hands. She was incredibly communicative, providing regular updates, photos, and check-ins so I always knew how he was doing. It was clear she genuinely cared about his well-being and took the time to make sure he felt comfortable and loved. Mya has been great from day one with our dogs. She is super responsive and takes great care of our pets. She asks questions if she is unsure about care/needs. We use her every time we need puppy care. Highly recommend her services.

Schedule
Im currently working part-time, so my schedule is flexible enough to accommodate your pet’s needs throughout the week/weekend! I work from 9am to 5pm 3 to 4 times a week, but my schedule can be adjusted depending on you and your pets needs!

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while maintaining their normal routine. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any household rules. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, while also keeping the home clean and secure. When caring for pets in my apartment, I ensure the client knows I have a cat of my own, who loves dogs and enjoys the company of having another furry friend around the house! I also live in a very walkable part of town, so walks will not be an issue, as well as a dog park only a few steps from my apartment!
