A Home Away From Home for Your Dog
Hi! I’m Mwajim, and I’ve spent over 20 years caring for dogs of all ages and personalities. My goal is simple: I want every dog who stays with me to feel safe, loved, and at home while you’re away. I know every dog is different. Some want nonstop playtime, while others just want a quiet place to nap next to someone they trust. I tailor each stay to your dog’s personality and routine so they’re as comfortable as possible. My home is calm, clean, and welcoming. I work a flexible schedule, and your dog is rarely left alone, so they’ll receive lots of supervision, companionship, and attention throughout the day. I intentionally accept dogs based on temperament and compatibility rather than taking as many bookings as possible. This helps create a safe, low-stress environment where every guest can relax. During your dog’s stay, they can enjoy: * 2–3 walks each day * Playtime and enrichment * Plenty of affection (if they enjoy it!) * Comfortable places to rest * Regular potty breaks * Photo and video updates so you always know how they’re doing I work in healthcare, where reliability, communication, and attention to detail are essential. I bring those same qualities to caring for every dog, and many of my clients return again and again because they know their pets are treated like family. I’d love to meet you and your pup and help make your time away as stress-free as possible.

Mwajim and her partner once again did a terrific job watching our dogs while we were out of town. They communicated really well and were accommodating with timing when our flight got back later than anticipated. We got pictures daily with updates on how our dogs were doing and they came home happy and healthy.

Mwajim took great care of Cali. She provided pictures and updates each day and Cali was happy when I picked her up. She even gave Cali some rice when she was having digestive issues. Overall, great experience and I'd recommend her services!
Mwajim and her partner took great care of our two dogs. She was very responsive in setting up the stay, and made sure all their needs were addressed. Both our dogs came home healthy and happy :)

Schedule
I work a hybrid job with a flexible schedule, and I live with my partner who works from home full-time. This means your dog is rarely left alone and always supervised, whether they love companionship, playtime, or a quieter environment.

I live in a clean, spacious two-bedroom apartment where dogs are treated like family. Your pup can roam freely or relax in a crate — whatever makes them feel most comfortable. I do board multiple dogs at times, but I’m very selective and attentive about temperament and compatibility to ensure a calm, safe environment.
A typical day
I love going on multiple walks about 2-3 per day, often 10-20 minute walks and much longer on a weekend. I also have a balcony where they can get some fresh air and a play area in my apartment complex for almost colder or hotter days.
