I have extensive experience with senior dogs, dogs with behavior issues, nervous dogs, and dogs experiencing mobility issues. My calm presence and patience lends itself well to the dogs in this world that get the label of being “hard”. My patience and calm presence are also important when working with cats. In my experience it often takes some time for cats to warm up and be ready to interact with people that aren't their humans and when working with new clients I always take my time in letting the cat adjust and be ready to come to me. I feel this patience is essential in building trust and a good relationship with your cat when I come into your (their) space! Pets have always been a part of my life and have always been some of the greatest joys in my life. I started being trusted to care for pets in my neighborhood at the young age of 12 and have gone on to care for pets in many different capacities in New York, San Diego, Portland, and Los Angeles. My sweet dog recently passed, she was my everything so I understand how much others care about their pets and only want to provide the best care for your animals. My dog went through back surgery, temporary paralysis, and in her senior years lost a lot of mobility so I have a lot of experience in those realms.
