Caring for animals is already a natural part of my everyday life. My schedule is intentionally flexible, allowing me to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, administering medications, or simply offering companionship, I enjoy creating a calm and predictable routine that helps pets feel safe and comfortable. Much of my work centers around caregiving, so being present, observant, and responsive comes naturally to me. I also spend a great deal of time outdoors, making regular walks, enrichment, and exercise an enjoyable part of the day. When your pet is in my care, they become part of my daily rhythm—not an interruption to it. I respect each pet’s individual needs and do my best to maintain the routines they’re familiar with, helping them feel secure while you’re away.

Whether we’re on a walk, in your home, or exploring a favorite trail, I stay present and attentive to potential hazards, changing weather, wildlife, traffic, and anything that could affect your pet’s comfort or safety. I respect your home as carefully as I care for your animals. Doors are secured, routines are followed, medications are given as directed, and you’ll receive regular updates so you can enjoy your time away with confidence. Trust is built through clear communication, consistency, and honesty. If I have a question, I’ll ask. If something unexpected happens, I’ll let you know immediately. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel safe, cared for, and completely at ease.

A typical day
Each day is centered around your pet’s normal routine. Mornings begin with potty breaks, breakfast, and outdoor time. Throughout the day we’ll enjoy walks, play, enrichment, and plenty of quiet time for rest and cuddles. Evenings are relaxed and predictable, helping your pet settle in comfortably before bedtime. Whether your companion is energetic and adventurous or quiet and reserved, I adjust my care to meet their individual needs.

I provide calm, attentive care tailored to each animal’s unique personality and routine. Dogs, cats, and horses have been a part of my life for many years, and I’ve also cared for a variety of other companion animals. My goal is simple: to help your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I believe great pet care is built on consistency. Nutritious meals, fresh water, exercise, play, rest, affection, and a clean environment all contribute to a happy, healthy animal. Every pet is different, and I enjoy getting to know what helps them feel most at ease. My greatest strengths are patience, adaptability, and communication. I’ll follow your pet’s routine carefully, ask questions whenever needed, and keep you updated throughout the stay. If something unexpected happens, you’ll hear from me promptly. I believe honesty and reliability are the foundation of excellent pet care.

Ms. Chris was great with our two dogs! They can be anxious but when she came for the meet and greet they could feel her good energy and were comfortable with her. She did a quick overnight stay for us, and I would hire her again in the future. Thank you for taking great care of our fur babies, Chris!
Chris is wonderful and is very attentive to your fur babies needs. You will get photos and details of the visit which gives you assurance your pet is well taken care of.
I can’t say enough about Chris. She was absolutely delightful to arrange services with and was even better through her stay with my pups. Sent me frequent updates and photos, the house was spotless upon our return, and she is average and wonderful human :) would highly recommend
Ms. Chris was fantastic while we were both out of town for about a week. It can be hard for our Tucker to cope with us being out, but she did such an exceptional job keeping Tucker active, happy, and engaged. There are sitters that do a good job and ensure things run smoothly while you are away, and then there are the more rare type, such as Ms. Chris, that share a deep passion for connecting with your pet and going above and beyond as if Tucker were their own. We could not have been more appreciative, and we look forward to the next visit. Thanks again!!
