Dogs, cats, and horses have been a part of my life for many years, and I’ve also cared for a variety of other companion animals. My goal is simple: to help your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I believe great pet care is built on consistency. Nutritious meals, fresh water, exercise, play, rest, affection, and a clean environment all contribute to a happy, healthy animal. Every pet is different, and I enjoy getting to know what helps them feel most at ease. My greatest strengths are patience, adaptability, and communication. I’ll follow your pet’s routine carefully, ask questions whenever needed, and keep you updated throughout the stay. If something unexpected happens, you’ll hear from me promptly. I believe honesty and reliability are the foundation of excellent pet care.

Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my highest priorities. I pay close attention to my surroundings, your home’s security, and your pet’s behavior and routines. Whether we’re on a walk, in your home, or exploring a favorite trail, I stay present and attentive to potential hazards, changing weather, wildlife, traffic, and anything that could affect your pet’s comfort or safety. I respect your home as carefully as I care for your animals. Doors are secured, routines are followed, medications are given as directed, and you’ll receive regular updates so you can enjoy your time away with confidence. Trust is built through clear communication, consistency, and honesty. If I have a question, I’ll ask. If something unexpected happens, I’ll let you know immediately. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel safe, cared for, and completely at ease.

As always, Chris is our most trusted caretaker of our babies! They love her so dearly and I always know they will be showered with snacks and fun adventures! Don’t hesitate. Choose Chris!
Chris watched our three dogs, our outdoor cat, and checked in on our nine chickens while we were away getting married, and she was absolutely amazing! She came over a few days beforehand so we could walk her through everyone’s routines, show her where we keep everything, and give her a chance to get acquainted with all of our animals. From the beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving them in her care. It gave us so much peace of mind while we were celebrating our wedding knowing our babies were with someone who genuinely loves animals and enjoys spending time with them. She took the dogs for walks, gave everyone plenty of love and attention. 1000% recommend Chris! We are so grateful for her and will absolutely be calling her again for future sits. :)
Ms. Chris was great with our two dogs! They can be anxious but when she came for the meet and greet they could feel her good energy and were comfortable with her. She did a quick overnight stay for us, and I would hire her again in the future. Thank you for taking great care of our fur babies, Chris!
Chris is wonderful and is very attentive to your fur babies needs. You will get photos and details of the visit which gives you assurance your pet is well taken care of.
I can’t say enough about Chris. She was absolutely delightful to arrange services with and was even better through her stay with my pups. Sent me frequent updates and photos, the house was spotless upon our return, and she is average and wonderful human :) would highly recommend

Schedule
Caring for animals is already a natural part of my everyday life. My schedule is intentionally flexible, allowing me to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, administering medications, or simply offering companionship, I enjoy creating a calm and predictable routine that helps pets feel safe and comfortable. Much of my work centers around caregiving, so being present, observant, and responsive comes naturally to me. I also spend a great deal of time outdoors, making regular walks, enrichment, and exercise an enjoyable part of the day. When your pet is in my care, they become part of my daily rhythm—not an interruption to it. I respect each pet’s individual needs and do my best to maintain the routines they’re familiar with, helping them feel secure while you’re away.
