Trusted pup care, 8 years strong!
Hi there! I'm Moriah, a dog lover, farm kid at heart, and your pup's home away from home in Castle Rock. I've been caring for animals my whole life. I grew up on a farm in the Midwest, got my start working at a local pet food and supply store, and volunteered at a rescue before landing here. After 8 years on Rover with a roster of wonderful repeat clients, I can confidently say: I genuinely love this. My home is a certified dog household. My two huskies, Sasha and Stella, are seasoned social butterflies who love making new friends. We've got a fully fenced backyard, a sunny patio perfect for lounging, and an open layout with plenty of room to roam and play. We also have a sweet black Lab who joins us most days for daycare; she's friendly but high-energy, so just worth mentioning if your pup prefers a calmer vibe. I'm home the majority of the day with my toddler and preschooler. However, my schedule now includes school runs and the occasional errand, so depending on your dog's personality and comfort level, they may come along for the ride or hang tight at home. We'll talk through what works best for your pup. A meet and greet before any new booking is a must, both so our dogs can get acquainted and so I can make sure I understand exactly what your dog needs. I'm always happy to send photos, videos, or even hop on a FaceTime to give you peace of mind while you're away. With eight years-worth of happy clients, I'd love to add your pup to the family. Greta had a wonderful time with Moriah and her sweet family. Lots of fun playtime with her cute pups too! Moriah is very attentive to Greta’s care, and made her feel welcome and comfortable in her home. Greta was very happy and fulfilled and I’m sure she’ll be very excited to return. We’ll definitely book with Moriah again soon
Moriah and family were great! We felt comfortable leaving our Lola for the night. All went well and it sure seemed like Lola had a great time! We would not hesitate to bring our dog again for another stay. Also great communication! Thank you Moriah!

Schedule
I'm home the majority of the day. My routine includes school drop-off and pickup, but otherwise your pup has my attention along with the rest of my "pack." I work from home part-time, so dogs are never far from my side.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced backyard and two friendly huskies who love company. Our home is dog-proofed by necessity, two dogs and kids will do that! I also require a meet and greet before booking any new clients, no exceptions.

A typical day
Morning and afternoon backyard time with our pups, ball and toy play, Mitchell Gulch Trail hikes when weather, kid, and pup energy allow, and plenty of cozy downtime inside. We also have a sweet black Lab who joins us most days for daycare; she's friendly but high-energy, so just worth mentioning if your pup prefers a calmer vibe.
