I’m currently a full-time online student in Northern California, and this is my second year. I’ll be graduating this June! Since my coursework is fully online, I’m able to complete it from anywhere, which gives me a very flexible schedule throughout the week. Although I stay on top of my schoolwork, I have plenty of free time during the day and evenings that I’m excited to dedicate to pet care. I go to the gym daily and live an active lifestyle, so incorporating dog walks and playtime into my routine is something I genuinely enjoy. It benefits both me and the pets I care for! Because I don’t have other major commitments outside of school and the gym, I’m able to prioritize the pets in my care and stick closely to their schedules, whether that’s walks, feeding times, medication, or just extra attention.

About Morgan W.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide a safe, calm, and structured environment whether pets are staying in my home or I’m caring for them in theirs. In my home, I have one large male cat who is used to a peaceful routine. I also have two spare rooms available if separation or extra space is needed during boarding, ensuring every pet feels comfortable and secure. PLEASE NOTE: I only accept potty-trained dogs. If a dog has repeated accidents in the home, a cleaning fee will be applied. My home includes a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, along with a sunroom that offers a secure indoor-outdoor experience — perfect for cats who enjoy fresh air while remaining protected. I always double-check that doors, gates, and entry points are securely closed, and I make sure the environment is pet-safe by removing any potentially unsafe items and keeping food properly secured. Cleanliness and hygiene are very important to me. Litter boxes are cleaned daily (or more if needed), and waste is picked up immediately to maintain a clean and healthy space. For added peace of mind, I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. Clear communication is something I truly value. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow their routines closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medication, and playtime. My goal is always to create a safe, consistent, and stress-free experience. I’m currently getting a quote to build a private ‘pet apartment’ in my home—a separate, thoughtfully designed space to give pets a calm, secure, and comfortable environment during their stay.

Information Morgan W. would like to know about your pet
It’s very important for me to know ahead of time how your pet behaves around other animals. I have a male cat in my home, and his safety and comfort in his own space will always be my priority. If your dog has any history of aggression or serious reactivity toward cats, please do not request a meet & greet or booking. This includes growling, lunging, aggressive barking, chasing, fixating, or inability to calmly coexist around cats. If there is any behavioral history, I expect owners to be upfront and honest before scheduling. I provide pet care professionally and work hard to maintain a calm, safe environment for every animal in my care. Meet & greets are taken seriously and are meant to ensure everyone is a good fit. I will not move forward with bookings if a dog shows aggressive behavior toward my cat during introductions. For pets that simply need their own space, I am happy to accommodate separation when appropriate. My goal is always a safe, respectful, and stress-free environment for both visiting pets and the animals already living in my home.
A typical day
A typical day with me depends on the pet and whether they’re staying in my home or theirs. If I’m boarding pets at my house, I usually start the day around 6:00 am by opening up my sunroom so they can enjoy fresh air and sunlight while I prepare their breakfast. It creates a calm, comfortable start to the day. For cats, the day is pretty relaxed—I spend time playing with them, giving attention, or just letting them lounge and feel at ease, then finish the day with their evening meal. For dogs, I like to keep things more active. Later, after breakfast, we’ll go on walks and spend time playing, either outside, at a park, or in a yard. I’m happy to take dogs on longer walks to help them burn off energy and stay happy and healthy. If I’m pet sitting in a client’s home, I adjust to their pet’s usual routine as much as possible so everything feels familiar and stress-free. My goal is always to make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the day.

Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always been drawn to them and knew I wanted to spend my life surrounded by them. I’d love to have a dog of my own one day, but I want to make sure I’m fully ready to provide the kind of life I believe they deserve. In the meantime, I have my one fur child, Goku, who means absolutely everything to me. I rescued him off the street, and from the moment I brought him home, I fell completely in love with him. After a urinary health scare, I became even more passionate about his care. He’s on a carefully planned diet and gets daily supplements to support his joints, immunity, heart health, bladder health, and coat. I truly believe our pets deserve the best, and I do everything I can to give him the happiest, healthiest life possible. I bring that same love and dedication to every pet that stays with me. Whether your baby is here for a few hours, a few days, or a few weeks, I treat them like part of the family. Some of my favorite parts of pet sitting are getting to know each pet’s unique personality, watching them get comfortable, and building bonds with them over time. I like to think that every client I’ve had so far has become part of my extended family, and I hope to love your fur baby just as much as I love my own. I have experience with both recurring and long-term clients, including weekly walks, doggy daycare, and boarding stays of a week or longer where I’ve been able to truly get to know each dog and their individual routines and personalities. I also have experience caring for multiple pets at once, including dogs with varying needs and temperaments. I’m comfortable with medication routines and have administered oral medications as well as topical treatments such as eye gels given multiple times daily. I understand the importance of consistency and following each pet’s care instructions closely. One of my regular responsibilities includes caring for a German Shepherd, handling walks, feeding, potty breaks, and exercise. I’m confident managing large breeds as long as they are well-mannered and responsive to basic structure and household expectations. For everyone’s safety and comfort, dogs must be respectful of cats and show no signs of aggression, fixation, or unsafe behavior toward them. This is a private home—my home, not a kennel facility. I am best suited for dogs who are already comfortable in a home environment and do not require behavior correction during their stay. I work hard to maintain a clean, calm, and stable home environment. Because of this, I am best suited for dogs who are comfortable living in a home setting and can follow basic house rules. ———————————————————————— 🐾 House Rules / Requirements To ensure a safe and comfortable stay for all pets: * Dogs must be house-trained. I fully understand occasional accidents may happen in a new environment, but consistent accidents may result in a cleaning fee. * Dogs must be respectful of the home (no destructive behavior such as chewing furniture, scratching drywall, or counter surfing). * Must be safe and respectful around cats (no aggression, fixation, or chasing behavior). * Puppies are welcome, but due to the additional care, supervision, and likelihood of accidents or training needs, they are priced at a higher rate than standard bookings. I reserve the right to decline bookings if a dog’s behavior is not a good fit for my home environment.

Reviews

Morgan was a saving grace for us. We were having flooring put into our house and the noise was nothing like we could have imagined. Our youngest boy started panting and his heart was racing we were so afraid he might have a heart attack, And older female cat who usually can handle loud noise couldn't handle this either. My husband and I were frantic to find some immediate help and didn't know where to turn. This is when by chance I found Morgan on Rover, She responded to us immediately and accepted our reservation without hesitation. She has a wonderful home that is incredibly kitty friendly. I knew the moment I met Morgan that my fur babies were in very caring hands. Morgan sent us frequent pictures, videos and updates. I couldn't have asked for a better care taker. We will definitely be using Morgan in the future and I highly recommend her!!! You are AWESOME Morgan!

Morgan was an amazing kitty sitter. She had a separate room for him with a litter box, toys, blankets, water fountain, kitty perch for a window etc. Excellent communication, making you feel safe and comfortable with choosing Morgan to watch your fur baby. I can’t say enough good things about booking your fur baby’s stay with Morgan. We will definitely be booking her again when travel is required.

Morgan was very kind and generous to my dog, Scout. With the last-minute booking, I was still able to work in a meet-and-greet to ensure that Scout would be in great hands. I couldn't have asked for anything better. The daily pictures and videos were also a nice touch. Thank you again for keeping Scout safe and giving her plenty of scratches.

I cannot say enough good things about Morgan! She is so incredibly sweet and sent the best updates with so many pictures and videos. I feel so comfortable leaving my cat with her and will 100% be requesting her care again!! 🩷
