Dog Trainer with Acreage
I’ve helped my mom take care of dogs/cats on Rover since 2016 and she’s one of the most successful Rover sitters in her area. I worked at a pet boarding facility for two years working with both friendly and un-friendly dogs. I went to school to become a certified dog trainer for behavior modification and obedience then worked as a kennel technician and dog runner at the local shelter for one year. I am now a dog trainer for said shelter and through all my experience, I have learned to administer medicine, arrange play groups, raise puppies, and work with behavior quirks.

This was our first time using the River app. We were planning an extended trip and were looking for a more personal and home like stay for our large dog. We were Very lucky to find Morgan on the Rover app. After our first contact and then the “meet and greet” at Morgan’s home we had a good feeling this was the place for our beloved dog, Bean. With some initial appreciation we dropped him off for his extended stay with Morgan. As the days then weeks passed we felt more and more confident we had made the correct choice. We received regular updates along with many photos of him playing with the many playmates and pals he was interacting with on a regular basis. We don’t think he has ever had so much fun and excercise! He came home in Great condition and we cannot give Morgan enough praise for the wonderful care she gave our dog Bean! Good place for our 120 lb lab. He had a lot of freedom to run and play with the other dogs and comfort inside the house. We will definitely be back.

My pups had an awesome day on the ranch with Morgan! She returned my inquiry text within minutes and set up a meet and greet. She was very thorough with her questions about my dogs and their habits, preferences and rules. She asks about your dogs' play style, if your dog is allowed on furniture, are they allowed to dig, are they allowed to have sticks and treats. My dogs have essentially no rules, but that was fine too! She was sweet and friendly and also professional and knowledgeable. I was very confident leaving my dogs with Morgan for a day of daycare while our usual sitter was out of town. She was flexible with my early morning drop off and flexible with pick up since I didn't know what time exactly I would be done with work. Most importantly, my dogs had a great long day with new friends! They spent time inside (snoozing on the couch in the AC) and outside very long leads so they could sniff and explore. The pups said they had a great day and can't wait to come back! We'll definitely be back when we need a backup and possibly for boarding. Thank you Morgan!

Schedule
I work mostly from home, so I’m able to take your dog(s) out all throughout the day. I’m big on meeting the exercise and enrichment needs of each individual dog and have plenty of time on my hands to ensure that happens.

Safety, trust & environment
I live on 7 acres of property in which the front half is a giant field of grass that we are working on fencing in. I have two small/medium fenced in yards in the front and back of the house for quick potty breaks and playgroups! I use 25ft, 60ft, and 100ft long lines to allow your dog(s) to sniff, run, and play around the field! Your dog(s) will go outside on average of 5-8 times during the day. That includes playtime and exercise. I do playgroups for friendly dogs to ensure they have their socialization needs met.

A typical day
I have an array of toys like frisbees, balls, tugs, flirt pole, horse ball, and puzzle feeders. If your dog is dog-friendly, they will have a playmate while here (unfixed dogs will not mix with the opposite gender).
