Hello, my name is Morgan! I love dogs (and cats!) more than people! I am a graduate from Western in studio arts, and a Master Aesthetician of 5 years! About 7 months ago, I opened up my own business called Rosebud Aesthetics in downtown Mount Vernon, a results driven, victorian themed spa! Although I am busy with my new business, I will always make time for your pets. I don't plan on ever stopping this very cute and rewarding hobby. Petsitting is a huge passion of mine, and one of my favorite things about it is my ability to bond and allow shy animals to open up to me quickly. 😀 As far as my background with pets, in 2009 at 12 years old, I became a volunteer at the Sumner county humane society and helped there for about 7 years, and I absolutely loved it! During my time there I helped socialize the animals for adoption, donated pet food weekly, and I even helped secure a $10,000 donation by dollar general which helped them remodel their shelter. Around the same time, I also worked as a pet sitter for my sister's petsitting business, "Rilie's pet sitting," where I worked throughout middle and high school, taking care of dogs of all sizes and I did some dog grooming for her as well. I am obsessed with animals and treat each client's pet's as my own. I also believe in positive reinforcement as well as plenty of playtime and cuddles when I come over to visit! I have been a Rover sitter since 2020, so in total I have about 15 years of petsitting experience and over 100-5 star reviews. 😃 For house sitting and boarding requests, I try to spend as much time as I can with your pets during the day and will spend all night with them! However, since this is not a job with hourly pay, please don't expect me to stay the entire day without breaks/and or other drop ins/Aesthetics appointments - unless your dog has special needs (Which we can totally discuss and I charge $500 per day for 24/7 care since I would be turning away Aesthetic appointments and other drop ins). This may have to be planned way in advance as well so I can make sure I block off time for your pets. Your pets will not be alone for longer than 4 hours maximum, again - I do try to spend as much time with them as I can. I also do not like cameras in my face while I am trying to relax in your home. 🙃 Especially if there is no mention of one at the meet and greet, then all the sudden there is one. Please just let me know so I know what to expect.
