Experienced and friendly dog family
We are a family of four with one 3 year old Scotch Collie who are ready to welcome your dog into our family while you are away. Russ is a certified dog trainer who works from home so your dog will have the safety and security it needs at all times. We have experience with reactive dogs, puppies and senior dogs. We welcome all breeds, but are hearding breed specialists having owned three different hearding breads over the years. Our family is avid dog walkers, hikers and campers so your dog will never miss a good long walk with us! Does you dog need a run? Morgan has experience running with dogs and can provide this. Our children are teens with lots of dog handling experience as well. Our oldest child even runs a neighbourhood dog walking/training service. We are happy with the care Asha received from Morgan, Russel, and their family. I was a bit nervous at first when I heard that our dogs were not getting along initially, but after she settled into her new environment, Asha became buddies with Millie. Morgan was very quick to respond to my messages, and she sent regular updates with photos and videos. We would be very confident leaving Asha with this lovely family again. 😊
Our doggo loves going to stay with this family! They give him lots of walks, playtime, and love. Very experienced dog people, we wouldn’t leave him with anyone else. He comes home well cared for, and very pooped!

Schedule
We are available anytime to care for your dog. Russ works from home and it is rare that our dog is left alone at home for more than a hour or two.

Safety, trust & environment
We have one friendly Scotch Collie dog at home. She is very good with other dogs. Our yard is fully fenced and we supervise our dog when in the yard. We can crate your dog if you wish for bed/leaving the house. We are flexible to the needs of the dog.

A typical day
Your dog will receive a good long walk each day and shorter pee breaks as needed. Inside the home we have enrichment activities like sniff balls and brain games. In the back yard we have an agility set!
