I have both personal and professional experience with animals of many species including dogs of all sizes and backgrounds, cats, birds from budgies to macaws, small mammals including bunnies & Guinea pigs, a variety of reptiles,wildlife,and horses! I work at an veterinary hospital that specializes in exotic pets but prior to that worked in dog&cat medicine, shelter medicine, and worked at a horse barn since the age of 13. I can do oral, topical, ophthalmic, and injectable medications. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and energy levels from different situations and a wide range of care and attention level requirements. I have worked with shelter/rescue dogs as a dog walker for a local rescue and a veterinary assistant at a low-cost spay and neuter clinic. I worked for two years in a small animal veterinary clinic dealing in canine/feline medicine before transitioning to my new job as a veterinary technician-assistant working with exotic animals. I own two cats, a dog, and a horse an also work with birds, reptiles, exotic small mammals, and wildlife. I am able to administer oral, topical, and injectable medications as needed. I started pet-sitting for clients from both hospitals starting approximately 6 years ago. Availability is dependent upon location and pets' needs.
