Professional Dog Trainer & Groomer

Hi! I’m Morgan, full-time dog trainer, groomer, and owner of Yappy Hour Obedience Training and Yappy Hour Grooming. With over a decade of hands-on experience, I specialize in working with dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities—from chill couch potatoes to high-energy wildcards. This isn’t just a job for me—it’s my full-time career and lifelong passion. Whether your dog needs structured walks, reliable care while you’re away, or just someone to make sure they’re not hosting a one-dog rave in your living room, I provide professional, personalized support. My training background means I notice the little things: stress signals, energy shifts, body language—your dog is in good hands, not just good company. I treat every dog like family—but without the weird uncle vibes—and I’ll always keep you updated so you know how your pup is doing. If your dog had thumbs, they’d have already booked me. Probably added a tip, too.

I had 2 trainers tell me my dog was untrainable. Morgan wasn't even a little intimidated. She worked with her and showed enormous patience and determination. I wouldn't recommend any other trainer. She's worth the money. She's worth the drive.

Schedule

Dog training is my full-time career, and I structure my schedule around my clients to make the process as smooth and accessible as possible. Whether it’s early mornings, evenings, or weekends, I stay flexible to meet the needs of busy households while still providing consistent, high-quality training. This isn’t a side gig—I do this day in and day out, and I’m fully committed to helping both dogs and their owners succeed.

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, structured environment where dogs can learn, build confidence, and feel secure. I live on the beach, giving dogs a peaceful setting with plenty of enrichment and fresh air. Trust is the foundation of my work—both with you and your dog—and I use proven, humane methods that focus on clarity, not force. Whether it’s a walk, a stay, or training, your dog is in safe, capable hands every step of the way.

A typical day

A typical day here is a blend of structure, learning, and laid-back beach vibes. We start early with calm morning routines—potty breaks, breakfast, and a bit of place work to set the tone. Then it's time for training sessions, tailored to each dog’s goals. Between lessons, we unwind with enrichment, playtime, or a stroll down to the beach for a sniffy walk or splash in the surf. Afternoons may include grooming, follow-ups, or supervised rest. Evenings are cozy: dinner, decompression, and peaceful downtime. It’s calm, consistent, and built for your dog to feel safe, happy, and right at home.
