Before caring for a pet, I like to learn as much as possible so I can provide the best experience for both you and your dog. Important information includes their daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite activities, energy level, and any commands they know. I also like to know about any medical needs, medications, allergies, mobility limitations, or special care instructions—especially for puppies, senior dogs, or anxious pets. Understanding how your dog interacts with other animals, new people, and unfamiliar environments is also very helpful. Every pet is unique, and the more I know ahead of time, the better I can make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m always happy to schedule a meet-and-greet before a booking so we can make sure it’s a great fit for everyone!

Every dog is different, so I like to tailor activities to their personality, age, and energy level! For active pups, I’m happy to go on long walks, play fetch, tug-of-war, or spend time playing with their favorite toys. For puppies, I enjoy helping reinforce basic commands and good habits through positive reinforcement during play. For older dogs or those who prefer a slower pace, I’m just as happy to take leisurely walks, offer plenty of cuddles, and keep them company with gentle play and lots of affection. I also love providing enrichment through sniffing walks, puzzle toys (if available), and interactive games to help keep dogs mentally engaged. No matter the activity, my goal is to make sure your pet feels happy, safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. And of course, I’ll send plenty of photo and video updates so you can see all the fun we’re having together!
