I work from my van, traveling full time to serve the pups of the CO front range and beyond! I also offer virtual and in-person training services and can meet with you to help tackle behavior and training problems. In the van, I have safety tethers and a secure 36" crate or smaller to travel in. Dogs staying with me must not have car sickness issues or they'll have a rough time and I wouldn't want to put them through that. Happy to offer drop-ins and house sitting instead for those pups!

Safety, trust & environment

All of my work is done using safe, yet effective and fun methods! As a certified professional dog trainer, I adhere to the CCPDT Code of Ethics, which means I treat both my human and furry clients with respect and care! Most of my work involves the use of rewards like treats, play, attention, and access to things our dogs want most. And to prevent or decrease unwanted behavior, I use short time-outs, withholding of rewards, or redirection to another productive activity. Feel free to ask questions if you want to learn more about how I train. As far as living with dogs, we travel full time and they get to see all sorts of sights, sounds, and smells, sure to leave them happy and tired when they go home. It also offers me opportunity to walk them in fun new places and find environments that best suit their needs and comfort levels. In client's homes, I aim to leave the home in as good or better condition than I arrived. I treat all dogs under my care as if they were my own, and I make sure that I leave my pups with something to do before I head out. Satefy is always my top priority! I off-leash hiked dogs for a few years and know all about how to safely manage all kinds of "furry" situations. I utilize my crates for naptime, travel, separation during mealtimes, or if a pup simply wants a safe and quiet place to rest.

Information Morgan M. would like to know about your pet

If your dog has allergies, please let me know as I do carry treats around nearly all the time! You never know when you'll run into a rewardable moment. I have experience with all breeds and have no restrictions on which breeds I will help, but if your dog has a history of aggression or reactivity, we just need to discuss that beforehand to set expectations and make sure everyone is safe. If they are staying with me, I do have a size limit to dogs that fit within a 36" crate or smaller. Larger dogs would need to pass a meet and greet to be sure they can travel safely on a tether or seatbelt.

A typical day

While in your home or on a walk, we will be working on skills like impulse control, leash manners, greeting skills, recall, crate skills, attention, tricks, and more! They will be treated as I treat my own pups, and given all the patience and guidance they need to succeed. I also like to allow dogs to enjoy enriching activities like finding hidden treats, digging in the leaves, learning a new trick, or working for some food in a puzzle toy to help tire their minds as well as their bodies. I find dogs given this enrichment time are happier, better behaved, and have an easier time settling in the house.

Morgan is an absolute dream come true. I was super nervous about leaving my pups—I’ve only ever trusted close friends to care for them—but Morgan instantly put me at ease. From the moment Morgan walked in, that calm, confident energy had even my most reactive dog totally relaxed. Morgan clearly has a natural gift with animals and a deep understanding of behavior, which was so reassuring given some of my dogs’ quirks that need a little extra management. Morgan sent regular updates and the cutest photos, and it was obvious Morgan truly got my dogs’ personalities right away. When I came home, they were happy, relaxed, and my house was spotless! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Morgan is kind, responsible, intuitive, and genuinely treats your pets like their own. Morgan is exactly who you want caring for your fur babies. We’re even looking into having Morgan help with training because the experience was that amazing. 10/10—would trust Morgan with my pups again in a heartbeat.

Morgan was fantastic! She took excellent care of my dog who needs special attention behaviorally. She was quick to respond and sent many pictures and videos throughout the day.

Morgan is amazing and will highly recommend to everyone. She helped me with a very last minute overnight need for my dog. Not only is she flexible and accommodating, but upon our first meeting, she has a very calm presence. This is great for all dogs, especially if your dog is shy/scared/timid and does not like new people around. My dog is very shy/scared and sensitive. She definitely does not like new people approaching her or around her. However Morgan’s approach was to take things slow and it turns out my dog was very happy and comfortable around Morgan (a total stranger to her!). It was also helpful to have her dogs as a neutral ground to show her everything will be fine since she is a very low confident dog. Morgan communicates and updates you through the day with photo and videos. I thank my lucky stars to stumble upon Morgan and will definitely be using her services again
