Hi, I’m Morgan! I’m a 28yr old animal lover with a lifetime of experience around dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. I made the move from Toronto to Nanaimo in 2021 and fell in love with the island lifestyle. When I’m not at work you’ll often find me at the beach, on a hike, or spending time enjoying the great outdoors 🌿 I’ve been pet sitting through Rover for nearly six years now, and have cared for a wide variety of dog breeds and temperaments. Morgan was absolutely amazing with our pup Rune! we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She was so attentive and caring, taking her on multiple walks each day and keeping her happy, active, and well looked after. She managed Rune’s spring allergies, making sure she stayed comfortable and cared for the whole time, which gave us total peace of mind. We also loved all the photo updates, it made being away so much easier seeing how happy she was. Morgan truly treats your dog like her own, and we would trust her again in a heartbeat! ✨
Morgan was so kind and patient throughout the whole process, from initial outreach to pickup! We have a younger dog, who can be vocal, but she and her partner managed him so well. Our pup was very excited to see her again after meeting her at the meet and greet! When we picked him up from daycare, he was happy, content, and well cared for. We will definitely be looking to book again.
This was Morgan’s second time making our very skittish beagle feel like home! She always goes above and beyond in taking care of our Maple. We were so glad she was available to host her during our four-day trip. Thanks Morgan, we’ll definitely be back!
Morgan looked after our dog Molly over two days and we were very pleased. She sent us quite a few updates and photos, went for walks with Molly, and took very good care of her. We highly recommend Morgan as a pet sitter and will be booking her again.

We couldn't be happier with the care that our dog Maple received from Morgan. From the moment we met her, we knew Maple was in good hands. Morgan was patient, attentive, responsible, and clearly loved spending time with animals. She also kept us updated with pictures and messages throughout the 5 days of Maple's stay and made sure she was comfortable and well-cared for. We came home to a happy and healthy dog, and we couldn't thank Morgan enough for her excellent service. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and loving pet sitter!

Schedule
I work for myself, so from Monday - Friday my work day usually starts around 8:00am! I mostly work from home so will be with your pup all day, and have a pretty flexible schedule to allow for mid-day walks.

I live in a cozy walk-out basement suite with direct access to a (non-fenced) backyard and forest trail just steps away. I start my days early, so I offer flexible drop-off and pickup times to fit your schedule.
A typical day
I love to get outside and go for long walks or hikes with your pup! Depending on what your dog likes, I’m up for playtime, the dog park, or just walks around the area.
