Hi! Hello! 👋 my name is Morgan, I have worked in pet care services since I was 15, I have been surrounded by animals my entire life and well experienced with cats, dogs, reptiles and rodents. All animals have a special place in my heart and I am always learning about animal care and behaviour in my personal studies. It is highly important for me to set up a meet and greet with your furry friends before confirming a booking. I like to get a feel for your pets personality and needs before caring for them. I start my meet and greets with a basic interview, asking questions about your pets routines, behaviours, and what exactly you expect of me in order to care for your pet how you need. Most of my meet and greets for walks involve a test walk, to see how we get along and so I can get a feel for what to expect on our walks. Safety is my biggest priority when caring for your pet, having proper walking tools is essential for everyone’s safety on our outings. Proper leashes, harnesses and collars are a must, including a collar with your pets information on it. When walking dogs I have a hand free dog walking belt, to ensure that if anything happens the dog is fully attached to me at all times and we won’t have any loose pups running around. As anyone will say, communication is key. I like to stay in full communication while I am caring for your beloved pet, regardless if your at work, on vacation, or have your hands busy there is no need to reply. However you will receive a message to inform you that I have arrived to your house, and updates through out the visit if necessary, including pictures, and I always leave a report through message and or on the Rover card after the visit is complete so you know how the visit went. With that I also ask pet owners what kind of training their dogs have received, and if there are any commands I should be aware of and use to ensure I am communicating and working with their dog effectively. I always start my visits with a potty break and a quick warm up, to get them comfortable and use to me and my being in their space, to end the visit I make sure that they have water accessible, and check the area for anything that they can get into or harm themselves with as an extra precaution. My goal is to provide services both you and your pet are happy with. Drop im visits and house sitting often include walks if you feel that your dog needs it, with plenty of activites, treats and cuddles. No pet is left unloved or without treats in my care!
