A typical day for a dog would include some exercise, some attention, and any needs taken care of. Cats can expect their needs taken care of, including the need to just exist nearby rather than be actively cuddled.

I have had pets of many kinds almost my entire life and many friends have entrusted me with the care of their pets while away. My friend who ran a successful rescue trusts me with her medically complex rescues. I follow whatever instructions are there with special attention paid to any medications that need to be given or other special details.
