Information Morgan L. would like to know about your pet

Before booking, I ask that owners let me know:    •   If their dog is up to date on vaccinations    •   Any allergies or medical conditions    •   Whether their dog has been ill recently or exposed to parasites or worms This helps me ensure a safe, healthy environment for all dogs in my care. I’m experienced with administering medications and following special care instructions.

A typical day

I’m happy to follow your dog’s specific feeding, medication, or activity routine. I’m usually up around 8:00 AM, when I let the dogs outside and feed them breakfast. After that, we spend a few hours playing, exercising, and enjoying supervised outdoor time. Midday is usually nap time. During this period, I stay close by — either relaxing or taking care of things around the house — so the dogs are never left unattended. Once they’re up, we head back outside for more play, potty breaks, and interaction throughout the afternoon. Dogs are given plenty of stimulation balanced with rest, depending on their individual needs and energy levels. Dinner is served in the evening, followed by calm playtime and settling down for the night in a comfortable, relaxed environment.

Pet care experience

Hi, I’m Morgan! 🐾 I have 15+ years of hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, rabbits, horses, birds, fish, and cats (though I am not currently accepting cats). I’m a licensed kennel provider through Davis County Animal Care, which allows me to legally and safely care for multiple dogs at one time and accept extended stays over 30 days. Please note: I do not kennel dogs unless specifically requested by the owner. The license simply certifies that my home meets county standards for providing a clean, safe, and healthy environment. I live in a clean, non-smoking home with no children. I currently have 4 very friendly, fully vaccinated dogs of my own. I never have more than 10 dogs total in my care at any time (including my own). If you prefer no other dogs to be boarded with yours, please let me know — and if possible, I’m happy to accommodate. Friends and family often joke that I’m a “dog whisperer” — dogs tend to feel comfortable with me very quickly, and caring for animals has always been my passion. I offer optional basic grooming services for an additional $10 per dog, which include:    •   Bathing    •   Brushing    •   Teeth cleaning    •   Ear cleaning    •   Optional nail clipping (Please note: I do not cut or trim hair, as I am not a licensed dog groomer. For everyone’s safety, please do not book if your dog:    •   Is aggressive or shows dominant/fight-prone behavior    •   Is currently sick or has been ill within the last 30 days with Bordetella (kennel cough) or Parvo    •   Is showing symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, or coughing When you bring your dog into my home, you’re sharing space with my dogs and other clients’ dogs, so I ask that all owners be considerate and transparent about their pet’s health.

Morgan always does great with my boy. It’s been a few years she’s been watching him and I couldn’t be happier with her.

We were coming to Utah to visit family. We found Morgan and her place was easy to find and she was willing to accommodate our different requests. Overall, we were extremely happy with Morgan. She texted frequent updates about how our dogs were doing. I had a few concerns about one of my dogs and how she reacts to new dogs, but Morgan assured me she would introduce her slowly. Within an hour or so she texted and said the dogs all met and my dog was doing well with her other dogs which helped ease my worries about her. We appreciated the communication and willingness to be helpful! We would definitely recommend Morgan, and would use her again with our a doubt. Thank you!

We left our dog for two weeks and she had a great time. We received updates pretty much every day or every other day and I was never worried about our dog which helped us relax and enjoy our vacation.

Unfortunate experience with Morgan for both receiver and giver of this care. Morgan was very helpful when I needed a sudden new sitter when first one canceled due to receiving surgery from wait list, but then again when we notified of our arrival to discover I booked the wrong week. We also appreciated how flexible she was when our pick-up day was not fully planed and we wanted to pick up later that day. However, the communiactions felt odd, like when we cleared up our arrival over an hour in showing up there was no light outside to let us know they were indeed ready. Pictures were sent and the day before pickup pic shows our sweet golden's tail is wet only by his butt. Upon pick up he smelled like roadkill and we asked why his tail was matted/wet, her reply was she didn't know but there was standing water in the yard (my nose was stuffy and I couldsmell him instantly but she never noticed?)>it was blood. Zips profile shows the extent of sitters he's been with, this being one of the shortest, with all sorts of other dogs/cats/kids/yards. Vet felt his abdomen and confirmed there was no foreign object so it was stress > what was stressing him when we ourselves sometimes forget him outside cuz he takes forver to go potty or when his meal schedules are all over or he's been present at my recent labor in our home??? And no change in activity or diet on our end yet months earlier he was 105lbs and immediately after this stay he was under 100lbs! This dog has gone through everything that would be "normal" stress yet never has he bled internally before - and with even my dalmation being dirtier than ever (shes rolled in our unfinished yard), I personally can't imagine what happened here but understandably I can't with conscious return again. I pray my dogs' experience were not the norm with this highly rated sitter.
