Throughout the day, we rotate between playtime, enrichment activities, and rest. Group naps in the apartment are a regular thing — usually with a few pups curled up on the couch, a couple on the floor, and someone inevitably stealing a pillow. We follow the dogs’ lead and adjust the pace to suit their needs — whether that means a high-energy morning full of zoomies or a slow afternoon filled with snuggles and chewy toys. Our home is kennel-free, so everyone has the freedom to move around, find a comfy spot, and just be a dog. We also have experience with special needs dogs and seniors, so we’re always mindful of making accommodations for comfort and mobility when needed. It’s a relaxed, loving, dog-centered space — always supervised, always full of belly rubs and treats, and always focused on making each dog feel safe and happy.

Safety, trust & environment

Our home is designed with dogs’ safety, comfort, and happiness in mind. We use properly fitted martingale collars for potty breaks and walks and are always happy to double-leash dogs when appropriate. With years of experience caring for puppy mill survivors, flight risks, and fearful dogs, we understand the extra precautions some dogs need to stay safe and secure. We share our home with both our resident dogs and foster dogs, providing opportunities for supervised socialization, play, and enrichment for dogs who enjoy the company of other pups. We also recognize that every dog is different and are experienced in giving dogs their own space and managing introductions at each dog’s comfort level. We maintain a clean, healthy environment by cleaning and sanitizing daily using pet-safe products, including OdoBan and other disinfecting cleaners. Our goal is to provide a safe, structured, home-like environment where your dog feels comfortable, has fun, and is cared for like one of our own.

Pet care experience

Welcome! We’re an in-home boarding service based in Montgomery, Minnesota, with over 10 years of rescue experience. During that time, we’ve personally fostered more than 1,000 dogs and puppies and have gained extensive experience caring for dogs with a wide range of medical and behavioral needs. Our home is designed with dogs in mind. Every guest has constant access to fresh water, comfortable places to relax, and plenty of love and supervision. Whether they prefer curling up in a kennel, stretching out on a couch, snoozing on one of our many dog beds, or claiming a spot on the king-size bed, we want them to feel safe and at home. We are also happy to care for dogs recovering from surgery. While we are not veterinarians or veterinary technicians, our years in rescue have given us hands-on experience assisting with recovery from procedures including double rear amputations, palate and nares surgery, TPLOs, mast cell tumor removal, wound management, and other specialized care. We carefully follow your veterinarian’s instructions to help your dog recover comfortably. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are our highest priorities. Dogs are never left without supervision, and we love sending regular photos and updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your best friend is happy, safe, and well cared for. We know how difficult it can be to trust someone else with a beloved family member. Our goal is to provide a calm, loving environment where every dog is treated like one of our own from the moment they arrive until it’s time to go home.
