No longer accepting drop-in visits or walks further than .5 miles walking distance from Meridian Hill/Malcolm X park. I have had dogs of all sizes and breeds my whole life, including my current rescue- an American Staffordshire Terrier named Winnie. I would love to take care of your furry family members while you are away and help you feel confident that their needs are being met. Winnie is a playful girl with redneck roots so her style of play can be too much for some dogs or provoke aggressive responses from others. Winnie is not a great host to little dogs but we welcome dogs her size or larger. I also offer weekend dog walking, drop-in visits, and care for cats. Pictures and updates will always be provided so that you know your pet is in the best of hands. I am familiar with administering medication, gentle-leader collars, walking reactive dogs, and senior animals. As a dog mom myself, I know how important it is to trust the person keeping your pets and that trust will never be taken for granted with me.

Morgan was wonderfully communicative and took excellent care of my dog while I was away. My pup got along great with her dog Winnie as well! Would definitely board with Morgan again!
Morgan took very good care of my dog Ru. Ru can be anxious and nervous in a new home and sometimes won’t eat right away but Ru ate all her meals while she stayed with Morgan, which showed me how comfortable she was in her home. Morgan sent me lots of pictures and updates and even walked her all the way back to my house when my flight home landed late. Will definitely ask Morgan to pet sit Ru again!
Morgan went above and beyond taking care of my sweet girl! Her expertise and knowledge of dogs was crucial in making Wrens experience a great one.

Thank you Morgan for taking great care of my cat! Morgan was a consistent communicator, left my apartment tidy, and looked out for little things like the thermostat being wonky from my older building’s annual heat/AC switchover.

Schedule
My days revolve around Winnie's needs so the same level of care and attention will be shown to your pet's routine. I will do everything I can to make sure your pet is comfortable while their favorite person is away.

A typical day
I love to go on walks that allow for plenty of sniffing and enrichment. You will often find Winnie and me on local trails in and out of the city. We live close to Meridian Hill/Malcolm X park so we walk there nearly everyday.
