I have been dog sitting with Rover for the last few months. Clients have enjoyed my flexibility, attention to detail, and bond with their dogs. Additionally, I grew up with a family cat, and have had my own cat the last three years. I’ve also spent extended stays at family’s houses helping care for dogs, cats, and a parrot. I love learning and paying attention to the unique ways animals communicate their needs and wants. Friends and family can attest that I can “read” my cat like a book, and have even taught him tricks such as sit, shake, and roll over. The key for me is establishing trust with the animal. With trust and reinforcement, I have been able to brush, trim nails, and bathe pets that even their owners struggled to manage. *Message me about light cleaning and household chores as well! I always change pets water and tidy toys if needed, but we can also discuss additional services such as wiping surfaces, washing dishes, and taking care of other household chores.

With my close attention to detail, I will notice and notify you about any changes in behavior, and be sure to address any environmental hazards. Having had multiple cats over the years, I know all about pets rushing doors, or opening them in my cat’s case, and affinities for cables and small items finding their way into pet’s mouths. I keep all of these in mind when entering a new space, including my own, as I have moved several times with pets as a college student. And I understand how difficult it can be leaving your fur baby with someone new, which is why I value open communication about visits and behaviors, and pictures!

Morgan is such a great caretaker for your pet! She puts so much love into every animal she has watched for me and others - rapidly understanding its needs, giving it tons of love and care, and ensuring its happy first and foremost! She will work hard to the best of her ability to ensure your pet is her top priority!
Morgan is an incredibly caring individual, especially to animals. She views her cat Jeremy as her entire world, and I’ve seen her go out of her way many times to ensure he was as happy as possible, even when it stood in the way of her plans. Morgan is a lover of nature as well, and we’ve enjoyed many forest walks together (with and without pets). While she can be introverted, I’ve always found Morgan to be kind, compassionate, and generous. All in all I couldn’t recommend her more!

I’m currently looking for my next job opportunity, so I’ll have plenty of flexibility to meet your pets needs. I’m available for weekday and weekend visits, any time of day - including in the early morning.
