Information Morgan C. would like to know about your pet

I'd be interested in learning more about your dog's walk style. things like how they react to other dogs or people when on a leash, if they have a habit of trying to pick things up along the way or if there are any other triggers (for my dog, it's skateboards) to keep an eye out for and make sure they are safe.

A typical day

I’m more than happy to accommodate longer walks, treat puzzles or other enrichment opportunities to help your dog stay relaxed and burn off energy while they wait for you to come home!

Pet care experience

About me: After growing up with dogs, I became a dog mom in 2020 (shout out pandemic puppy parents) to a now 6 year old rescue pup from Puerto Rico! I love to be able to give my friends and family peace of mind when traveling, working late, shuffling schedules and more. For boarding requests, I do also have a 3 year old cat- she is indifferent with dogs but we ask that all overnight stays confirm a meet and greet to ensure comfort/safety of all pets prior to boarding. Thank you! Schedule: I’m a teacher who will be home for summer break so as long as my calendar is open on Rover, I am available! Full availability: June 19-August 16th. Experience: I have experience with small to large dogs, special diets, giving medication, post-surgery care, cats, and more. I treat all animals as if they were my own and will go above and beyond to make sure their needs are met. If your dog needs company on a walk, my pup is also extremely docile and has been known to calm nervous dogs or puppies when strolling around the city. Let's get strolling! ** Boarding requests: meet & greets required prior to overnight stays to ensure your dog is comfortable with my dog & cat, who are both docile, well-adjusted to other dogs. Thank you!

Morgan Carpenter is a very responsible, reliable and dependable pet caregiver. She is very compassionate toward all pets and treats them with love, respect and kindness. She has taken care of Lola our current dog and she provides updates and pictures while taking care of Lola. I would highly recomment using Morgan for your pet care needs.

Morgan is an extremely dedicated, responsible, and loving animal caregiver. Since living with Morgan, I have witnessed her provide consistent and devoted care to her own dog Charli, my cat Sonny, and countless other pets. Morgan is the first person our peers reach out to when their pet needs care. She is reliable, thoughtful and caring when it comes to animals of any kind. Morgan loves to walk her dog around DC and she knows of all of the safest and most accessible routes. She also volunteers for a local animal rescue just so that she can build bonds with animals that need homes. Morgan would be a great asset to the Rover community! I would hire her in a heartbeat.

Morgan is an amazing dog sitter! She has watched my Chihuahua mix a number of times and always provides him with the utmost care. Morgan gives me many updates during my dog's stay and is highly responsive. I trust that when my dog is with Morgan, he is being cared for as if he were hers. I would 100% recommend Morgan and we would definitely use her again next time.

Morgan has taken care of my dog Benji numerous times. Her dog, Charlotte, is so gentle and playful - especially important because my dog is a tiny guy. Morgan is super easy to communicate with and very accommodating -- 10/10 would recommend!
