I recently lost my beloved dog in 2024, and this is the first time in my life without a furry companion, so caring for your pets fills a very real space in my heart and daily routine.

When caring for your beloved pets, I want to understand their unique needs and routines so I can make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Here’s what I like to know in advance: Daily routine: Feeding times, walk schedules, potty breaks, and play preferences. Health info: Any medications, allergies, or medical conditions I should be aware of. Behavioral traits: Personality quirks, fears, triggers, or anything that helps me build trust with them. Training & commands: What words they know and any routines you’re working on. Socialization: How they do around other animals, strangers, or on walks. House rules: Where they’re allowed (or not allowed), furniture guidelines, crate routines, etc. Emergency info: Vet contact, emergency numbers, and anything else that gives you peace of mind. The more I know, the better I can match the care they’re used to at home.
A typical day
I tailor each day to your pet’s routine and personality. Mornings often start with a walk or some playtime to get their energy out. Throughout the day, we’ll stick to their feeding and potty schedule, mix in their favorite toys, and enjoy lots of attention or quiet companionship, whichever they prefer. I work remotely, so while I may be on my computer or a call at times, I take breaks to care for your pet and can easily arrange my day around their needs. If your pet enjoys multiple walks, ball time, belly rubs, or couch snuggles, I’m here for it. Evenings are usually calm with a wind-down walk or cuddle session, but if that’s when they get a burst of energy, we’ll make time for play then too. My goal is to make their days feel as normal and happy as possible while you're away.

With over 20 years of experience caring for animals of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior pets requiring extra patience and support, I understand that every animal is unique. I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and personalities so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I also treat every home with the same respect and care I would expect for my own. Bringing in mail, watering plants, maintaining routines, and leaving your home just as you left it are all part of the service I provide.
