Keeping Tails Happy While You’re Away
Cat care experience
Meow, fellow cat lovers! 🐱 I’m a proud guardian to three amazing cats, each with their own unique personality—Luna, the shy and gentle one; Mila, who may be blind but is incredibly intelligent and a mischief-maker; and Kiki, the ever-hungry, food-loving cutie. Their quirks and companionship bring so much joy to my life, and I can’t imagine a day without them. My love for animals goes beyond just caring for my own cats. I have been a dedicated volunteer at the Pussycat Lodge Trust, a small but wonderful cat rescue center located in Ingrave, Essex. This experience has given me the opportunity to help rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome cats in need, which is both challenging and deeply rewarding. There’s nothing quite like seeing a once-frightened or neglected cat slowly gain trust and find a loving forever home. To expand my knowledge and skills in animal care, I have completed a course on Animal Welfare and Behavior from the University of Edinburg. Additionally, I have undertaken two Intensive Dog Rehoming courses at the Battersea Academy in London, representing the organisation I remotely volunteer for (Animals Need Me). These courses have provided me with invaluable insights into responsible rehoming practices, canine behavior, and welfare standards. My learning journey never stops! I regularly take online courses at the Battersea Academy to stay informed about the latest developments in pet welfare, behavior, and rescue work. This continuous education helps me provide better care for my own pets and contribute more effectively to the animal welfare organizations I support. Caring for animals, especially rescue pets, is my true passion, and I am always eager to learn, grow, and make a difference in their lives. Whether through volunteering, education, or simply providing love and care, I strive to help as many animals as possible find happiness and security.
Reviews

Morena has been amazing with our shy cats. She spent time playing with them and making sure they are fed and safe. She sent photos and videos which provided peace of mind while we were away. We highly recommend. Thank You!
Morena was amazing! I couldn’t recommend her highly enough to look after your cats. We were a little nervous about leaving them at first, but thanks to Morena’s regular updates, photos, and videos, we had complete peace of mind while we were away. We also had a minor issue with one of the locks at the property (completely unrelated to the cats), and Morena was incredibly pragmatic and helpful in resolving it. She went above and beyond, and it was reassuring to know everything was in such capable hands. We came home to two very happy, well-looked-after cats and would happily book Morena again.

Amazing service, I could leave my cats behind with full peace of mind. Morena is extremely knowledgeable about animals and gave my cats great care and personalised attention. They are usually very shy and hide for strangers, but somehow Morena managed to get them to feel safe with her, play with her and let her stroke them. It was lovely to get photos and video updates as well.

Morena was fantastic with the cats. Annie warmed up to her straight away and although Bennie was a bit shy at first, she definitely won him over. She sent loads of great pictures and videos and provided loads of updates. Thank you again!
