“Empty Nest” Dog Lover
I love caring for dogs and giving them the attention they deserve. Play, training, and walks, are always a priority when it comes to dog ownership, and I believe training and routine create a foundation for good behavior. I miss my dogs terribly, and part of the reason for joining Rover is to heal from the heartbreak of losing my large breed dogs through caring for other sweet canines.

Safety, trust & environment
There is plenty of space for a crate if needed, but if the client trusts their dog to roam freely, I do as well. I have a decent sized private yard, and although it is not fenced in, I am used to a routine of attaching a leash before exiting the house. Our cat is accustomed to living with dogs. She is friendly and if she doesn’t feel comfortable will find a place in which she feels safe. We are a household of animal people who will make sure your dog feels safe and comfortable on their terms.

Montana and her family took excellent care of Clover. They even went above and beyond giving her a bath and a good brushing. I loved the photos and updates she sent throughout my vacation. That gave me peace of mind and comfort seeing she was getting along so well. I appreciate the care and love they gave . I would definitely recommend Montana for pet care.
My dog Clover spent the night with Montana. I loved that Montana sent a picture that evening. Clover looked very happy and comfy! I appreciate Montana’s communication before the visit and upon pick up. We will certainly use her care service again.

Schedule
I prefer to host dogs in my own home. I work for myself on a flexible schedule. I enjoy walks and live near very walkable areas. I still have one cat, meaning I still am in a feeding and cleaning routine. Weekends are pretty open for walks and play and trips to the park or quality time on the couch.
