I love animals and getting to know them. Friends and family have relied on me to watch their pets—walking them, feeding them, playing with them—and they keep asking me to come back! I like to use patience and compassion to find a dog's needs and work with them to accomplish any pet sitting duties. I love assisting in training and am a big supporter of positive reinforcement and utlizing natural animal behavior and instincts.

Monroe is amazing! We trust her completely with our two dogs! She makes sure to check in frequently and send lots of cute updates :) we will be using her any time we need a dog sitter!
Monroe was great pet sitting while we were on vacation for a week. She was very communicative, checking in often and giving detailed updates. She was even willing to take our cat to the vet, as he was having digestive issues while we were gone. I highly recommend Monroe for piece of mind taking care of your pets!
Monroe was amazing! 1. Walked my dogs. 2. Alerted me to possible health concern for one of my pups. 3. Gave me daily feedback. 4. Left the house cleaner than it was when I left! 5. Respectful and courtious. I was apprehensive about leaving my house and dogs basically to a stranger but Monroe did a great job. I came home to my house exactly as I left it except that it was a liitle cleaner! What a pleasant surprise. For much of the trip I was out of cell service (on a boat out of sight of land). She “held down the fort” and handled everything like a pro. Pleasant to work with, respectful, and thoughtful. Will definitely hire her again!
Monroe is a great person to have watch my dogs! She asks questions and ensures they get proper care each time. She goes above and beyond just walking and feeding, but also make sure to give them the love and attention they deserve.

Schedule
I am currently working part-time so I have a lot of free time to work animals into my schedule! I have a lot of flexibility but my schedule week to week may change slightly. I am happy to stop by for short visits or stay over to keep your pup company! Just reach out to me to ask about any schedule questions!

I lead with respect and understanding, and am happy to abide by any rules or guidelines you have for your home and pets. I like to know the routines and preferences of your pets so that I can give them a seamless and stress free experience!
Pets
A typical day
I love to keep a dog stimulated mentally and physically. We will go on walks, play with toys and or puzzles, and of course have cuddle time if they want it. If they like to go to dog parks I will be happy to do that with them, and love to see what their favorites activities are.
