I’m a trained veterinarian 🩺👩🏻⚕️ with over 5 years of clinical experience caring for dogs, cats, and small animals in India. Unlike most sitters, I bring professional-level knowledge of animal health, behavior, and medical care — which allows me to provide a calm, safe, and responsive environment for pets with special needs. I’m currently based in the U.S. with valid work authorization and am working toward U.S. veterinary licensure. Back home in India, I have two country dogs Yashna 🌸❤️ & Veera 🕊️💚who are incredibly dear to me. Moving to the U.S. meant leaving them with family — and I miss them deeply. Being on Rover gives me the chance to spend time with other animals and offer them the same care and affection I give my own. I highly recommend Monisha for her sitting services. While taking care of Zena, she sent lots of updates and pictures. Zena came back to us happy and well-cared for. Overall, Monisha was a lovely sitter and she did a very good job!
We were nervous about leaving our Furbaby Franky with someone new but Monisha & her husband were very caring& attentive ! We felt comfortable knowing he was well taken care of & played with. She communicated often and sent updates & pictures... & Franky loved them!

We were so happy with Zeke’s boarding experience! From the moment we dropped him off, we felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. The care and attention he received really showed, and we loved getting lots of photos and updates throughout his stay. It gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We also appreciated how well his schedule was followed—meals, walks, and routines were all handled perfectly. Thank you for treating Zeke like family and making his stay such a positive one!
Monisha and her partner took extra good care of Benny and were incredibly flexible and helpful with some travel delays I had to deal with. She kept me up to date with lots of photos. I would highly recommend her again

I’m currently preparing for my U.S. veterinary license exams and spending time with animals is a perfect balance to my academic routine. Taking care of pets isn’t just something I’m qualified to do — it’s genuinely therapeutic 🧘🏻♀️for me. Whether it’s a walk, feeding time, play, or quiet companionship, being around animals gives me joy, structure, and motivation. My study hours fits naturally into my week and allows me to stay connected with what I love most — working with animals and building trusting bonds with them.

I live in a pet-friendly apartment, in a calm and walkable neighborhood near River Oaks Park 🏞️, the Guadalupe Trail, and several pet-accessible green spaces. The area has wide sidewalks, and is great for regular, enriching walks. In my home, I maintain a clean, calm environment and I follow the pet parent’s instructions closely — from feeding schedules to preferred routines. When comes to caring for pets in my home, my priority is to make them feel secure, loved, and well cared for — physically and emotionally. My background as a veterinarian🩺 also gives me the skills to confidently care for pets with medical or behavioral needs.
A typical day
I love tailoring activities to each pet’s personality and energy level! With playful dogs, we’ll go on leash walks through nearby trails like the Guadalupe River Trail and River Oaks Park, where they can sniff, explore, and enjoy nature. If the pet is energetic, I’ll add in some light games like fetch or tug-of-war indoors or in designated park areas. I keep activities safe, vet-informed, and aligned with your pet’s routine — whether it’s a high-energy walk, structured play, or simply quiet companionship. My goal is to make their time with me both fun and comforting.
