We Speak, Snuggle and Play Dog!
We have had dogs all our lives for 50+ years now. David grew up on a ranch, participated in 4-H caring for all kinds of animals and grew up with Golden Retrievers and horses (largest kind of dogs). Monisa grew up with, and dog sat Huskies. We have always been the dog sitter go to for family and friends and have cared for many furry friends over the past 40 years. We love being with dogs, treat them like family, give them lots of play time, affection, attention and care. We are empty nesters and Monisa is home nearly all day on weekdays, while David works full time at LLNL and is home nights and weekends. David is a dog whisperer and Monisa indulges by giving light touch doggie joint, back and head massages. We are currently in between dogs (Pomeranian) so your pup will receive extra attention and individualized companionship.

Monisa and David were absolutely wonderful while watching my dog during a long weekend trip! My dog is a young, high energy, anxious girl who doesn’t like being away from her family, so I was nervous to have someone new watch her while I was out of town! It was immediately clear that Monisa and David love animals, and would take care of my Zuzu as their own. They played fetch with Zuzu for a very long time each day, gave her fun new treats (after asking for permission and food allergies), and gave her so many cuddles. They also sent multiple photo and video updates to ease my mind and were flexible and quick to respond each time! I could tell she was very comfortable and felt like she was at home. I will 100% be booking Monisa and David again the next time I have to leave my girl while I’m on a trip! 🦮
Our pups had a great time with Monisa and David! We had arranged a meetup ahead of time to view their space and get to know them before boarding. Monisa and David asked a lot of questions about the dogs, their habits and what they needed from home to be comfortable. We both felt at ease learning how much they enjoy dogs and caring for them. Their backyard has beautiful grass and shade, room to play chase. Their home is cozy and my dogs were at home on the coach or their beds. They kept us informed and sent a photo too. I will definitely call on them again for day Carlee or boarding.
I give Monisa and David our highest recommendation for dog boarding. We had our 2 dogs boarded with them for 10 days. We had never left our dogs with anyone for that length of time so we had some nerves but after our initial meet & greet with Monisa and David, we felt so at ease and confident. All communication leading up to the boarding, during and for pick up was clear, easy and straightforward. Monisa also provided photos and videos throughout their stay, and our dogs’ coats looked better when we picked them up than before we dropped them up😂. We had a great vacation and so did our dogs 😊

Monisa and David were top-notch dogsitters for our 10 yr old, 20 lb., Yorkie mix, Cody. Monisa kept us informed throughout our absence, and we never worried about Cody. He loved their doggy door that led to their large, grassy and shaded backyard. We hope to book with Monisa and David in the future.
Shaka seemed to have a great day at Monisa and David’s house. She even got a nice brushing from Monisa! We feel so lucky to have gotten a referral to Monisa and David from one of their neighbors. We plan to try to book both day care and overnights with Monisa whenever they are available and we have the need. I’m learning they are VERY popular with other pup parents, so booking early is important. Thanks for a perfect first stay for Shaka!!

BOARDING: 7 days a week. DAY CARE: 7 days a week (9:00 am – 5:00 pm) Both with 24-hour access to large backyard and personal front yard fire hydrant.

24-hour backyard access to healthy green lawn, sun, shade, birds, squirrels galore and a personal front yard fire hydrant for doggie neighborhood text line. Doggie door for most pups (<50 lbs.) and around the clock door service for larger pups. Allowed on furniture and bed access with parent permission. David speaks 'dog' fluently and loves to play with them. We look forward to a Meet up so we can start on the right paw and develop win-win relations.
A typical day
Daily walks around neighborhood include stops at personal front yard fire hydrant and beautiful local Sunset Park with possible spontaneous fellow furry friend meet ups. Daily toy play, fetch, tug of war and all-day access to healthy green lawn, sun, shade, birds and squirrels. Meals and treats provided at requested times. Light touch head, joint and back massage, brushing and small dog washing included with boarding services (week+). It is our mission to make our home feel like home away from home for you cherished four-legged family member.
