Prep for Being a Pet Parent
Since I was a child old neighbors, friends, and family were able to rely on me to walk, play, feed, bathe and stay overnight with their pets while they were away on trips. I even had 10 sweet years with my family dog Bella. Although I do look forward to the day where I can show affection to my own furry companion right now I value having pets in my life without having the responsibility of being a parent just yet.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a one bedroom basement apartment in a row house and I do not have any pets of my own so it would be easy to host for a furry friend and give them my full attention. I also have lots space in the living room or bedroom if there needed to be space available for a crate.

Monique was fantastic! My pup got lots of exercise and cuddles with her. She provided regular updates and took care of my house. I already have her booked for the next time I need a sitter!
This was the first time I had left my dogs with a babysitter for more than 3 days and Monique made the process so easy. I was very anxious because all my dogs were adopted within the last year and had not been with anyone else besides us. They were shy at first but she was very patient with them and after just a day or two they came around and were cuddling with her on the couch. I am so thankful for the quality time she spent with them and would definitely recommend her if you are planning a vacation.
Monique is amazing! We are so lucky to have found her. We were able to leave town for the weekend with the peace of mind that our pup was in exceptional care. She is so nice and easy to work with, and she checked in every day with cute pics. We would definitely work with Monique again and highly recommend!!

Schedule
Hey! My main career is rooted in the work I do for an educational nonprofit in DC proper. My work hours are hybrid which allows for a lot of flexibility. For cats this schedule works effortlessly. For my dog pet parents as long as your furry friend can have potty breaks every 4-6 hours I could also be a great fit! On the weekends I have an open and flexible schedule!
