Traveling petsitter now in London
I have had dogs all my life and have experience taking care of dogs of all ages, from puppies to senior dogs, and dogs with anxiety or that require medication. Besides my own two childhood Shih-Tzus, I've cared for many different breeds, including Poodle mixes, French bulldogs, Schnauzers, Labs, and Akitas. I was a sitter with TrustedHousesitters for a year and pet-sat across the UK until I settled in London. Now that I have my own flat, I would love to have dogs in my life, whether it's taking them on a walk or boarding them overnight.

Beyond being one of the kindest people I know, Monique is extremely responsible, reliable and patient. My 4 rescues (ranging from 4yo to 10yo) require a ton of care and structure and she has never failed to deliver on either. My biggest hesitation when finding someone to watch my dogs was finding someone who could gain all of my dogs’ trust and Monique did so in such a short amount of time and with so much patience- always giving them the time and space they needed. I’ve never had to worry about her caring for my babies the way that I would care for them which is all I could ever hope for. I couldn’t recommend her enough. She’s the best!
Monique is my best friend, which means I know two things for sure: 1) She is super organized and clean 2) She grew up with taking care of dogs at home. I am super picky about who watches my dog, but she is the one person I trust 100% without a second thought. Her family & roommates throughout college has had dogs, so her care for animals is very clear (her sister is an amazing Rover sitter, too!). She’s pet-sat everywhere from the US to London, so she can handle literally any dog personality. Your home will be spotless, your dog will be pampered, and you won't have to stress for a single second while you're away! :)

Schedule
I work at a bookshop 3 days a week (normally two weekdays and one weekend day) and am given my exact schedule 2 weeks ahead of time. On a workday, I would be out of the house for about 8 hours, but if your dog is small and well-trained, it is welcome to come to work with me.

Safety, trust & environment
My flat has an enclosed courtyard/garden area big enough for getting the zoomies out and convenient for a quick toilet break. If your dog enjoys longer walks or playing outside, I would take them to Brockwell Park, about a 10-minute walk away. Pets would have free rein of the flat when I am home.
