Pet care isn’t just part of my routine—it’s my career and my passion. My days are centered around caring for animals through dog walking, private training sessions, pet sitting, and supporting pet owners with guidance and education. Whether I’m working with a new puppy, helping a reactive dog build confidence, or caring for a senior pet, every day is focused on improving the lives of pets and the people who love them. Outside of client appointments, I spend time creating educational content for Saturday Paw Club, researching pet products, staying current on animal health and behavior, and sharing practical tips with my online community. Because I’m consistently working hands-on with dogs of different breeds, ages, and personalities, I naturally incorporate the products I trust into my everyday routine and confidently recommend them to my clients.

When I care for your pet in your home, I move with intention and respect. Allowing your pet to approach me at their own pace especially if they’re shy or anxious. Dog walks are structured and never rushed. I guide with quiet confidence, addressing leash pulling or overstimulation so your dog feels secure and understood. For cats, I respect their space. If they want playtime, we engage gently. If they prefer distance, I honor that. Litter areas are cleaned, food and water refreshed, and their environment left neat. Your pet isn’t just being watched. They’re being understood.
Information Monique G. would like to know about your pet
Before I care for a pet, I want to understand them not just their schedule. I ask about medical history, emotional triggers, structure, and what makes them feel safe. I pay close attention to energy, routine, and communication. My goal is never to disrupt their world while their owner is away.
A typical day
For Dogs: Because I am a Balanced Dog Trainer I believe enrichment is a key component to a happy dog. I love to use licking and sniffing mats for problem-solving. So the dog feels mentally satisfied without becoming overstimulated. I also believe in longer walks to help with instinctual exploration. For Cats: Enrichment for cats isn’t about constant stimulation — it’s about honoring their instincts. I use prey play, teaser wands, food-based hunts, and safe spaces so the cat feels secure and mentally satisfied.

Pet care experience
What sets me apart is my ability to care for both the pet and the person who loves them. With over 15 years of experience in veterinary medicine, animal hospitals, dog daycare, professional dog walking, pet sitting, and behavior-focused training, I bring both medical awareness and behavioral understanding to every visit. I specialize in caring for puppies, senior pets, and dogs with anxious, reactive, or sensitive personalities. Whether I’m reinforcing good manners during a walk, caring for a senior pet with medications or mobility needs, or helping a puppy build confidence and healthy routines, my approach is always calm, patient, and personalized. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, respected, and understood. I take the time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, and individual needs so they can feel comfortable while you’re away. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care that gives both you and your pet complete peace of mind.

Reviews
Monique was my dog walker for three years, caring for my two very rambunctious huskies, Biscuit and Lulu. Anyone who knows huskies knows they need structure, stimulation, and a lot of patience — and Monique handled them beautifully. What I appreciated most was that she didn’t just walk them — she educated me. She took the time to talk with me about techniques I could use to make our walks safer and less frustrating so we could actually enjoy them. She helped me understand how much enrichment and mental stimulation they truly needed, something I hadn’t fully considered before. Once we incorporated more games and structured activities, I saw such a difference. Her insights were thoughtful, practical, and empowering. She truly cared about both my dogs and me as their owner. We no longer live close by, but I am so grateful for everything she did for Biscuit and Lulu. I wish her nothing but continued success.
Monique cared for my two cats, Jax’s and Lily, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Jax is very shy, while Lily is really playful, and she handled both of their personalities with such patience and care. What meant the most to me were her daily updates. They gave me such peace of mind while I was away and reassured me that my cats were safe, comfortable, and happy. I’ve used

Monique was available in the rush of the holidays. She was immediately responsive to initial communications and follow-up texts. She got along well with our pooch from the first meeting. I would highly recommend her.

Monique provided us excellent service! She was friendly and really cared about Monty's well being. She provided regular updates to let us know how he was doing. I would highly recommend her!
