Hi! My name is Monique. I bring genuine love, patience, and connection to every animal I care for. Animals are more than pets, they’re family. I treat the ones I care for with the same respect, attention, and affection I would my own. I am trained in dog CPR and First Aid, which gives owners added peace of mind knowing their pet is in safe and capable hands. I also grew up with a beautiful black and brown male Doberman Pinscher named Ninja. I’m comfortable with larger breeds and understand the importance of structure, exercise, and attentive care. My experience started young, caring for family members’ and neighbors’ pets, and I’ve always loved being around animals. Ninja regularly had playdates with other dogs, which helped me learn even more about socialization, behavior, and how different dogs interact. I enjoy teaching dogs new tricks, reinforcing positive habits, and keeping them active through walks, play, and mental stimulation. My favorite games to play with dogs are hide and seek and fetch. I also love to see how happy they get when they hear the word "walk". The excitement is very adorable and in return brings me great joy. I don't currently own a dog, but I’m happy to regularly help care for two beloved family dogs who visit on weekends. A sweet female senior Shih Tzu and an energetic six-year-old female Giant Schnauzer. I treat them like my own, and caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities has given me valuable hands on experience. From providing gentle attention and comfort to senior pets to keeping active dogs engaged and happy, I understand that every dog has unique needs and deserves loving, reliable care.
