I am a dedicated Veterinary Assistant with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Norfolk State University and a Veterinary Assistant Career Studies Certificate from Tidewater Community College. With hands-on experience from internships at two SPCAs and volunteer work at the Humane Society, the Virginia Beach Aquarium, the Virginia Living Museum, and the Portsmouth Humane Society, I am equipped to provide exceptional care for your pets. My training allows me to detect early signs of abnormalities in your furry baby's and other animal's behavior or body that owners may overlook. I treat every furry baby with the same level of care and attention I give my own, ensuring they are always engaged and happy. Whether it's through play with a variety of toys tailored to each dog's personality or engaging walks in safe and stimulating environments like beaches, large parks, and nature preserves, I aim to keep your pet both mentally and physically active. Having recently graduated from NSU, I now have temporary open availability while I seek a career position in veterinary medicine. This flexibility allows me to be more accommodating to your scheduling needs, with a preference for a 3-day to a week's notice to ensure availability.

Safety is paramount, so I carefully monitor interactions, provide secure spaces for rest, and use positive reinforcement to make your pet feel loved and cared for.

Very friendly and knowledgable person but unfortunately showed up late consistently and the walks were always shorter than 30 minutes.
Monique care and attention to our oversized baby was top notch. When we returned the house was in good order and our baby boy was in good spirits. I would definitely book her again.
