I am also responding to all requests usually within an hour (unless I'm asleep or hiking - then few hours). *** All tips collected from the stays (either booked thru Rover or directly) will be donated to Humane Society of NW Georgia. Every pet trusted in my care is happy, loved and taken care of. Very often amount of time given to each pet exceed what I am being compensated. I am hosting dogs mostly out of joy which brings me to care for them and work with them. I am kindly asking - Please respect my and every other sitter time in exchange. If you message me and you don't like my approach or what I can offer - I will be happy if you will find better fit elsewhere. But please do not message me if I'm one of 10 sitters you are contacting at the same time. Meet & Greets are free because I care more for yours and your pet comfort than making a few dollars. Please respect it and do not abuse it. They are also mostly scheduled in my home so your dog can get familiar with my place and get comfortable, but I am not ok with sharing my address if someone is not seriously considering my services. If you want to contact multiple sitters at the same time, schedule meets and greets with all of them and then make the selection - please leave me out of it. I do not have fenced yard yet, I have something much better - taking dogs to fenced dog park for several hrs a day. Taking dogs to place where they can wonder, chase sticks / play fetch / socialize / run their zoomies out in the open field seems like a much better idea than just to be let out in someone's tiny yard. Younger dogs enjoy socializing and various ways they can play and burn energy. Little more mature ones (no old dogs in my vocabulary:) enjoy shaded area and walking around where they can explore. I am always taking plenty of ice-cold water with me in the summer and treats to ensure they have all they need. When we're indoors there is plenty of space for them to do anything from wrestling / playing or stay out of each other's way (depending on their preference and attitude). I am supplementing my dogs kibble and canned food diet with meat, cooked eggs, rice and vegetables wich are recommended by nutritionists for wholesome diet (not all at once :). I do not mind sharing with your dog if you'd like to. I've been around animals my whole life. Have experience with special needs or difficult to handle animals. I have adopted and helped to adapt rescued animals. I have german shepherd mix of my own - Stella. She is 3.5yo and love interacting and playing with other dogs. She still has a puppy brain, she is a kind and gentle goofball. Stella will also respect other dog boundries if other dog does not want to play or is little more mature age. I do not have a fenced yard at the moment, but i am walking dogs 3 / 4 times a day and additionally taking them to park / trail / dog park. I am also going on the trails within the forest preserve or state parks which are miles long. When your dog is staying with me I am doing my best to ensure he / she feels like home. Always ensuring they have everything they need. There is no cages here (unless your dog is sleeping in the crate which was brought with). When they get tired they are more than welcome to cuddle up on the cauch. Dogs are our friends, our family and that is how I am treating them. I also own a "Home away from home dog boarding LLC".
