OLDER/CHILL DOGS Welcome. RAMP
We love the older/senior or chill dogs here at The Pooch Palace NC. Our dogs Dusty and Daphne and all of our dog guests think our home and yard is a doggie oasis. We specialize in Senior dogs. D and D like to hang out rather then play with young holligans. We live in a 1950's ranch with a 1/2 acre of land. There is a lovely shadey yard and a covered deck with a DOG RAMP (for the injured or Older Pooches) for easy access. We both, Jeff and I, have grown up with dogs and as adults have rescued six that have lived happy long lives. We look forward to meeting you and your doggie family members. We love making new canine friends and hope your pet will see The Pooch Palace NC as their home away from home. We love to play fetch or just lounge around the house or deck on lazy days. There is an easy three step entrance into our home and a doggie ramp in the yard. Dusty and Daphne are super chill about relaxing and are only to willing to share couch time with their new buddies. I have been using Monika and Jeff for years. My previous dog spent many days with them. I was so pleased that my new rescue fit in so well with their " pack". Bailey came from a puppy mill and they are teaching him how to be a dog. It's just what he needs. Monika and Jeff are wonderful. So are D and D.
Monika and her husband were very friendly and accommodating for my pup. Great backyard and great picture updates, will be back in the future.
What a dream! Monika and Jeff were so amazing to my little old man. He always had someone to hang with and cuddle, and I got photo updates! Will book again with them for sure !
I was impressed with Monica and Jeff and how they took care of my buddy Dudley! They are true dog people and it shows. My 5 year old maltipoo has only been watched by two people, neither of which can dog sit anymore. I am so glad I met them and even though it took Dudley a couple days to warm up, they won him over. He has only been without us on four occasions so he had some anxiety. They did a great job as I could tell when I picked him up he was friendly with them. Highly recommended!

Schedule
We both work from home. So there is plenty of time to enjoy your pooch and get to know him or her. Snuggle time rocks!

We are a very close knit dog family. We are in and out in the yard all day long. There are dog beds everywhere and I usually have a train of dogs following behind me.

We love playing games but this is a very chill house. That’s why we love the older pooches. So snuggling and cuddling is big over here.
