Licensed vet tech who loves pets!
I’m an experienced licensed veterinary technician! I hope to provide peace of mind for families with “special” needs pets! I love all animals of course. But I know how hard it is to find a trust worthy individual to take care of my kids when I’m gone. I had a special needs dog myself and it was stressful going on vacation. I’m here to alleviate that unneeded stress! I treat all pets/animals as if they are my own! I love sending picture updates and fun times! It will ALMOST be like you never left in the first place :D I have a crazy Chihuahua who has a great personality! It’s always fun when she meets new friends and I love seeing them play! Pets are my life! I currently reside on Whidbey island at my house that is equipped for all animals. I provide pick up and drop off transportation at low cost to you and I have many clients in the greater Seattle area. Transportation is on a Mon-Fri 9a-5p schedule and cannot be provided on holidays. Please keep this in mind when scheduling :)

Our dog had the BEST time at Monika's! She is great with communication, is super knowledgeable and works so hard to give the dogs in her care both structure and play. When we came to pick up our dog he was happy to see us, but kept going back to Monika for pets and love. You know they had a good time when they don't want to leave! Monika is such a gem!
Monika is amazing. She did a fantastic job with Simba. He had a great vacation himself and Monika kept us informed everyday as to what he was doing. Thanks you so much for taking such great care of him!!
I can’t say enough nice things about Monika. Our dog returned to us completely normal and happy after a 9 day stay. Monika knows what she’s doing and it shows. Dog door is a plus for our guy too. ❤️
I am so thankful for Monika for taking care of my pup for the week! It was the first time my 3 month old had been away from home, and Monika made me feel at ease right from the start. Her communication, coordination and timeliness were all superb, and the updates I received during Mia’s stay had me feeling comfortable the whole time. It’s clear from Monika’a interactions with Mia that she is a true dog lover and I’d highly recommend her services to anyone!

Monika's love for dogs shows through from the first moment you meet her. I felt very confident that our two golden retrievers were being well taken care of and loved! We received daily pictures and our boys looked happy and active! You can trust your beloved friends with Monika!

Schedule
Pet sitting is my full-time career and I never leave pets alone in my house for an extended period of time! I walk my own dog every day (when it's not raining) and am mindful of energy restrictions or requirements for each pet. We frequent dog parks as often as possible; as well as other outdoor excursions.

I have a fully fenced yard and my house is puppy proof. I have a friendly older dog. Animals are allowed on my furniture. Coming and staying with me is like a visit to Grandma's house!

A typical day
I will play fetch, tug of war, cuddle, tummy rubs, creepy stares, butt rubs, whatever your pet may desire! I frequent a lovely off leash dog area on Whidbey Island; if your dog is comfortable with areas like that, I will happily take them!
